DF will make it faster for content to get "old". They want to extend their life as much as possible.
I'm not sure why people automatically assume DF players are bad. Yes, I've had groups with bad players. I've also had groups with really awesome players. I've never found it any better or worse than PF, honestly.
I'd love to do Savage, but my work schedule doesn't allow me to do statics. I just wish it wasn't the only way to get dyeable AF gear.
If they follow the ARR model, the upgrade mats will be obtainable through Void Ark.I'm not sure why people automatically assume DF players are bad. Yes, I've had groups with bad players. I've also had groups with really awesome players. I've never found it any better or worse than PF, honestly.

It would be nice if the EX primals were in DF. I would definitely queue for Ravex in my spare time for the chance to get some quick tokens so as to gear the couple of classes I have left using law weapons. Heck, I'd even queue for Bis because the weapons are pretty. The problem is that since neither of these things are required for progression, I can't justify spending an unspecified amount of time waiting in PF. I could understand not putting them in DF on release, but the time to make them available has long since passed. One patch for primals is more than sufficient.
Its more. Yoshida said some time ago, that forming a fixed group, make friends and so on is one part of raiding in his eyes. The requirement of meeting at the entrance (or at least to be in the same area with the entrance) underlines his point of view. Between the floors, you get together in a separate room, where you can meet other people, before you start over into the next turn.

of course they'll say that xDIts more. Yoshida said some time ago, that forming a fixed group, make friends and so on is one part of raiding in his eyes. that's good PR.
it's not like they'll say they want to keep the content last longer via weekly lockouts and other limitations.
Though I'm not saying that's not what Yoshida feels, but in the end he answers to someone higher up.
they're a business first and foremost.
Whether he is saying it for fluff or not, he's not wrong. Raiding is very much a social experience.of course they'll say that xD

Still don't get why so many non-raiders don't get that. Most of us could care less about the gear that drops (myself included), we just want to clear hard stuff with our buddies. The gear is merely a tool to do so.
Right? Tonight 7/8 of my static took an ex-member (and a good friend) to get his first A1S clear. We then went into A2S... to basically play GTA with the gobwalkers, have races with them, and pretty much just spend about half an hour goofing off and laughing insanely in Mumble when the first waves of goblins spawned and killed everyone.Whether he is saying it for fluff or not, he's not wrong. Raiding is very much a social experience.

It's really really fun to have friends that are on the same level of content as you are. :3
