Congratulations, you've won the internet today!
As an aside, why isn't the OP of the other thread complaining about getting good deals from said undercutters?
Overcutters, otherwise known as price gougers? I will cut into their profits any day.

I love price gougers. If there's multiple offers for whatever HQ I'm selling up for like 50k it makes mine at 38k look cheap so it's more likely to sell. In all reality I paid less than 2k for the mats (more like 1k if even that) so it's extreme mark-up but all that matters is buyer perception so yeah...
Your welcome,
Robin Hood.
You are all welcome XD, Under cutter here and at your service. I have all the gill ill ever need, ill set prices as low as I want![]()
Those same new players that wont be able to make gil, because someone went and undercut prices too far? How do you guys even think new players make their gil in the first place? xD They need to sell something too, lol.
Just because they're new and poor doesn't mean they have to be stupid when pricing. In fact, the new and poor should know exactly how much to price it for since they're the ones who know how much gil they had at that point in the game.
Generally, brand new players make money through questing. The Main Scenario quest, sidequests, levequests, etc.

I've seen level 15 stuff being sold for ridiculous prices, and they're certainly not using the MB to accumulate gil at that point, as it's not even unlocked yet.
The Market Board is not the primary source of gil in this game. In fact, it's not a source of gil at all. All it does is transfer around the gil that has already been made from quests, FATEs, dungeons, leves, etc. It's the rate at which those primary sources provide gil that determines how much is reasonably available at any given point. And low-level quests, leves, FATEs, etc, don't pay out as much as high-level ones.
