Red Mage (Tank) Please!

I'd personally prefer it be a caster dps, maybe caster dps/support, with samurai being a melee dps.

So it steps on Summoner / BLM..

Or bard with WM (Caster Support)

We already have that class. We need something unique.

Just because another caster tank would be more unique than another caster dps doesn't make it in any way a good decision. Rdm as a tank would be a terrible idea.

I think making a new class that is similar to what we already have is a terrible idea. How about some originality? Red Mages can tank, and they were used as such in the past. We have no casting tanks. It would fit the role pretty well.

How is another MP based tank Unique? Its not. Id bet all my gil that rdm will be a caster dps support job. Samurai will be melee dps and blu if and when it comes to us will be the tank.

Paladin and Dark Knight both use MP. I don't see how its "MP" based.

Im pretty sure you are smart enough to know I was referring to drk, not paladin. Just like 90% of the people in this thread, id rather see it as a caster dps/support not a tank.
