Hilda seems to suggest that Elezen-Hyurian Hybrids tend to favor their Hyurian blood line. Which could lead to the question (Once again) of how other mixed races would work.
(I Bet Au Ra-Miqo'te Hybrids would look interesting)

That's not necessarily true for 100% of hybrids. Some Half Elezen may still be tall with blunt ears, though it is true from D&D lore as well as several other sources that generally Half-Elfs and equivalent races look like humans with sharper ears.
Well Hilda is really our only confirmed Mixed Blood. So untill a few more are confirmed she's really all we have to go on.

You all probably forgot about the half highlander/ half garlean who had the echo back in Waking Sand. He looks exactly like a highlander tho

Dealt with this a bit when the Au Ra physiology thread was super hot.
Simply put, there's more likely than not lots of half-Elezen in Ishgard; there seem to be adulterous relationships everywhere, with Aymeric, Haurchefant, and Hilda all being products of such relationships. Furthermore, there is a noble woman near the Astrologians' Guild who complains that, despite having hired her only about a month ago, their new maid is "already fat with child," suggesting she was hired because the head of house was porking her (or this started very shortly after she was hired, or something like that).
That aside... genetic hybrids. Hard to pin down. We've got conflicting products. On the one hand we have Hilda, a half-Elezen who looks rather like your average fantasy half-elf (pointed ears, otherwise human). Then we have this Roegadyn in Limsa who is apparently married to a Lalafell, and he has two children with her... both of which are simply Lalafell. Without testing we can't say for sure what a hybrid of any two races would look like, apparently. (And I've no intention of performing such experiments FOR SCIENCE! I may be willing to discuss these things, but I'm not Hojo.)
That said, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of Ishgardians aren't "pure" Hyur or Elezen (see above on adulterous relationships), so an Elezen maid with Hyur-like ears doesn't strike me as all that unusual (and that appearance can be made in the Character Creator with the right options).

The two lalafell children could be either step children or adopted. Honestly, fantasy game aside, a lalafel birthing children with Roegadyn genetics would potentially be a life threatening event unless Roegadyn children are born very small. This is a problem in the real world when with animal breeding when you have to breeds of very different sizes mate and the mother is the smaller.
Its worth noting with Ishgard though that what was considered really scandalous about Hilde's birth was not as much that it was adulterous (as these seem rather common) but that it was with a Hyur servant. That's why Hilde's mother was kicked out. So it was the cross breeding that was considered taboo. That said, I have no doubt its happened frequently enough, particularly with the lower classes. In the lower classes such cultural taboos probably don't carry quite as much weight. Still its worth noting that for a long time Hilde was ostracised for her mixed heritage hence the nickname, the Mongrel.
With a higher Elezen population there are quite likely Ishgardians with Hyur ancestors that look predominately Elezen. After all its likely that if Hildi had a child with an Elezen the child would have more Elezen traits than Hyur.

I remember that highlanders were joked about their mothers being Roegadyn... Though looking at Roe and Hyur that doesn't seem too farfetched... Now if I see a Highlander with a green/blue hue to their skin...
Uh, the racial slur "Your Mother was a Sea Wolf" has lead to many a drunkard's untimely deaths when directed at a Hyurian highlander.

RAHHHAGGGG!! I'M SO ANGRY RIGHT NOW!
