There's no need to be rude. It's clear you don't want to put in actual work to craft and just want things handed to you. The red scrip system has really shown the true colors of who crafts for fun and enjoyment and who just does it when they aren't raiding as a "side thing". Which one are you?

I hit 2bil gil back in March mostly from crafting, maybe compared to Irisviel I'm only a casual crafter?

I'll quote Irisviel talking about new 2* crafted crafter gear:

The ultimate question is closer to "is this route feasible for anyone with less than a billion gil?" and the answer is no.

It's not even feasible for people with a lot of gil, as you wont see a return in the insane investment needed, as the gear is not needed/useful enough.

I don't mind chasing a carrot on the end of a stick, but there has to be a carrot there :P

It does not mean I've not made any of this gear to use myself (Gotta have that glam ;O), I've made myself several of the chest parts, un-melded they are nearly the same stats as the previous BiS, so I just use them un-melded, as the stats I had before were more than fine for current stuff.

People who dislike the system are not, by necessity, avoiding participation.
People who like the system are not, by necessity, 'profiting'. (We can't really quantify fun though)
