I do not agree or disagree with anything that has happened with the red script system. I thrived with the old system and I thrive under the new system. I have lost as much as anyone and gained as much as my hard work and dedication have ascribed.

My average on the old favor gathering system was 4.3 items gathered per script (across 180 scripts) and my new average is 4.8 items (over 45 scripts).

I have completed all crafting accessories and penta melded; I have completed LTW MH and OH, chest, helm, hands, feet, BSM MH, OH, Hands, Feet, WVR MH and gloves, GSM boots, and Gatherer ring x 2, and neck...all HQ and melded.

All the tears on this forum are tears of some new generation of gamer who does not want to put forth effort to achieve anything. You pay 15 mil for some dumb puppy minion but cry about spending 3 mil on a functional upgrade. I am sick of hearing all of this. You all are bad for this community.

Kay. When I started playing this game again, I decided I wanted a house. Regardless of cost. Turns out the cost was 25m. Then I said okay, I remember how bad gil was to make before, but I will nevertheless get that 25m in 2 months, and buy that house.

Then I did, just that.

Wow, thats a whole 45 scrips. Or is it favors? I cant tell. There's something off with the way you phrase your math.

We are the ones that provided the crafting and gathering information you can find on the net, and that you most likely used to obtain your favors and craft your items. Because we put forth effort to obtain that information, and cared enough to share.

There was no reason to make things easier and you are lesser human beings for wanting it this way.

I would not cry about the farm, gg for the effort btw.
i am not against all the farm at all
I just think we would need better adventurer stuff to craft, even if it's mean we have to get comp from the raid, just because now we upgrade our crafter to upgrade our crafter even more. the 180 adventurer stuff is not reliable.
So the only thing that link crafter to high end adventurer is potion/foods/skin/mirage.
it's a little sad.

Also it make the 2stars item to be rare so ppl who try to sell them at pretty price XD, when i see the price i can tell it will be hard to be sold. it's more reliable to craft 2 stars item for personnal use atm.
I guess the craft service is OP to make money for 2stars craft

You're right, kids these days don't know how good they have it. Back in my day we had no crafting recipes. We had to guess and if we were wrong we lost all the mats 100% of the time, none of this 90% reclaim nonsense. Crafting made nothing of value, but we still crafted anyway and dang it we liked it. It was about role playing an experience and putting in some good old fashioned hard work that you could be proud of at the end of the day. We also wore an onion on our belt, which was the style at the time. We didn't have any fancy auction houses or market boards, we had to travel around the world on foot and find somebody who wanted to buy our item. Then we had to travel some more to get to a bank so they could pay us because it was too risky to carry a lot of gold on you, and too heavy because money had real weight to it!

...and we crafted uphill in the snow, both ways!

Sorry, I am a Physics Teacher and I did not have 11.25 hours a week to dedicate to gathering Favor materials. Even 10 mins each would have been fine, in my opinion it was a tremendous waste of time 15 mins each. They fixed it and I'm happy and so are many players

Crafting sucks i hate but i still am doing it wtf.

I'm not making any less money than I did before. But I'm also all but completely ignoring 50+ crafting. I would have had exactly the same income if I hadn't leveled any of my DoH classes to 60.

I want to craft cool stuff. I want people to wear gear I've made around town, I want them to use it and feel like their investment was justified, and I want others to come to me for crafting services. With the elimination of useful (and cost-effective) end-products for crafters, they've all but removed most of those aspects. There's only so much of a market for Thavnairian Bustiers.
