This is NOT a hairstyle discussion thread. Please read my original post and discuss hairstyles in the other thread.

Titor posted 1 sentence that was slightly off topic. The rest of his/her post was directly on point to the topic of disqualification; you need to relax.

On Topic - I agree the offending hairstyles need to be disqualified but SE tends to drop the ball on selecting winners that follow their own guidelines. It would be nice to see a mod step in and let us know that they've forwarded the reports to the team doing the contest.

No, it really wasn't taking away from the topic since they were also talking about the disqualification with a small side comment. Irregardless they are bringing more attention to the thread by even posting at all and you were being overly aggressive over something trivial; we're all on the same page and want the same thing (offender's disqualified).

Whether or not we are talking directly about removing the violating hairstyles or just talking about the hairstyles in general we are keeping the thread bumped up in a non-spammy way to increase visibility from a GM or community representative, which I thought is the goal of this thread.

However yeah I was pretty much agreeing that these violations should be removed with one small comment to the side of another person's post. We want to see proper justice just as much as you.

Not saying that the entry shouldn't be booted anyway because it's little more than a request for a KH character's hair, but it's not much of the wig maker's original work either considering the hairpiece is a copy of SE's IP in the first place.

Yeah but at least the wig-maker MADE the piece. Sure, they didn't create the concept of Roxas's hair but they at least did the work in making the wig.
This is different then someone copy/pasting a picture of an anime character they googled, the person who submitted this in the contest did the equivalent of that.

Not all those hairstyles are peoples own creations if you think about it, some are from anime series and since they copied those shouldn't they be disqualified by your logic taking someone else work? I mean I could pull a few hairstyles from anime's even the one with ponytails from Mikumiku dance just straight down in back and shorter or Tolone from xenogears just moved to the back.

Some look like they came from Aion so why you making a huge deal out of it? Do you hate this person or something?

So I don't think anyone should be disqualified.

People don't want it disqualified because it's Roxas' hair. They want it disqualified because someone took someone else's work and claimed it as their own without the original artist's (or wig-creator's) consent.

It's like using Google Images to find a picture of something, then claiming you drew it yourself.
