I've made ~60 million from desynth and ~20 million from retainer ventures (mostly minions). I've probably made as much from crafting and gathering as I've spent on crafting and gathering gear/melds. I'm not saying crafting isn't profitable, I'm saying I haven't really bothered making money from it because there are far more lucrative means at my disposal. Money is easy to come by in this game if you want to make money. Money isn't the issue.

People can do something about money. No one can do anything to buy an item that simply doesn't exist. People are having to spend 5x the price of a house to bribe someone into relinquish their unused or underused land so they can buy it. That's not okay. No one should have to do that just to get a small house.

Thankfully, this will be alleviated when the housing decay system is implemented soon as mentioned in the Live Letter, and hopefully more wards will be added then too.
