play another game. everytime i feel sick of this game , i go hit up some LoL with some friends, get abused by teammates/enemies, then come back to this game again

Ik its an mmo, but to have been bored this fast after an expac is like wow.
After ppl start clearing alex savage what then.
I doubt the majority of players raiding will attempt 2 star crafting etc as they have been focused on raid progression.
They already missed out on weeks of red scrips = going to be rough easing in.

Im glad i dont raid as there will always be a content that i didnt do but should have.

If there was something else besides raiding & crafting/ gathering then i myself can see spending more time playing.

They butchered sight seeing in 3.0, something that i oddly enjoyed in the 2.x era.
Maybe i'll level other classes to 60 or something to tide myself over till 3.1.
Also aren't games suppose to make u feel like u have a false sense of accomplishment? I dont feel that in ffxiv anymore lol

I for one know I'm bored of this game atm. So I'm playing ds2 which to me is a very fun game. I'm waiting till 3.1 to get back on this game hopefully se will make it so you can get the eso upgrade items from other means besides just in savage by then.

Haha lol ya i play LoL too.
But im pretty casual so i just play Aram to avoid all the try hards / toxic behaviour. If this game becomes even more grindy i'll probs unsub and just play MGSV till ffxiv becomes less grindy

The only way FFXIV can get any less grindy is if they go full blown WoW and have garrisons with your retainers bringing you "epics" . Ya no thanx!!! I think FFXIV needs to learn some things from earlier MMOs. The ones that withstood the test of time and lasted for over a decade each. Steer away from all this BS warlords of draenor super-casual stuff.

I dont mind if the grind actually was worth the effort but atm its not as only raiding eso grind is worth it.
We might not see results till early october = whats the point of trying hard to be better than the average joe lol.

Ya I think I understand what you mean. Everything except savage is easily beaten without esoterics anyways. I might have misunderstood what you were saying. The 24 man raid will prob be on par with Alexander normal too, so there's not much progress to be had until 3.2 if your not a raider.

Yea and that what worries me, SE wants u to grind grind grind till like october but by then we'll have a 24 man raid that will drop i200 stuff+ so missing eso = meh unless ur a raider.
NOT everyone raids so y is it that only raiders get to have a sense of progression while the rest r in purgatory lol.

Well time to broaden the view point then? It's just that the people who do progression race have their own thread/stuff about milestone.

If we're thinking about progression globally, then getting a lot of gold as a result from progressing your crafter/gatherer also counts as progression, no?

But that's just me, because progression in most people's mindset is about progressing through raids and people tend to overlook other things beside that.

Yeah im feeling it.
Working a lot so I got maybe 2 hours to play a day this month.
And well, 3 of my fc mates just quit becasue they were bored, and im thinking i might as well because without them the game is even more boring.

Time to look for a new game!
