I already lost so many fc member before expansion that makes the system transfer the fc leader to me lol (And after expansion he back and he want the fc leader again lol). But I still can have fun in the loneliness by decor the fc house and private chamber, hangout with JP neighbor (even I talk with google translate lol). If I'm too bored I play other game such as GTA 5 and The Sims 4

I cap because I'm in a progression static, but about the only thing that interests me in this game currently is PVP (thank god I can cap while doing that, or else I'd go mad). If it weren't for the fact that I'd get replaced from my static permanently for doing so, I'd likely unsub until 3.1, and this is coming from someone who has been a loyal subscriber since launch.

I feel like this game has a dearth of interesting content ATM.

I'm with you on that Lore, I'm starting to get bored; but unlike you I don't have the luxury of getting regular enough PVP pops to make it a pastime. I've seen so much Fractal & Neverreap that it is mundane. I have completed Alex now so the push to do that has gone & I'll just play it to get drops. As for crafting - 3.0 ruined it for me I'm afraid.

I am somewhat in a rut yeah.

Normally getting tome gear would have been my #1 priority (I have 0 interest in 8man raids...waiting for the 24 man one though) .

But anyway I just cant seem to dive into it, I dont feel negative about the game at all!!!..I just dont have that urge to get the tomes this time, I almost feel emotionless about it I have earned so few its scaring me lol

I dont feel like levelling any more jobs (yet), I do my company airship every day, retainer stuff etc...but beyond that I normally minimize ffxiv and log into another game O.o

I have spent a great deal of time crafting, (not concerned with the flawed red scrip design, I just cant support a bad design like that) but just to level them up and have them caught up and learning all the master books is fine wih me.

If housing was fun and engaging I could see myself redesigning a home or creating an entire new zone/theme, but sadly ffxiv has none of that to spend time on. Its so limiting and remedial its depressing

I have started another dimension in Rift though , absolutly the best housing and player creative design in any game, I can create anything my imagination can muster up, its the best and has been keeping me engaged and very satisfied.

But thats why I always have multiple games to keep me a bit busy.

Im sure I will snap back into the gear grind soon but for now having 1000x more fun designing a breathtaking zone with hidden treasures, a bit of jumping puzzles and a new custom home

Eh. Some days I feel kind of like I'm in a rut, sure. I'm kinda aimless and end up doing dumb crap like jumping around the housing ward or something. Other days, I'm laser focus and I know exactly what I want to get done. I do make sure to cap tomes every week, whether it be from running dungeons or from PvP. I do my daily and weekly hunts. I keep things for sale on the market. I do random silly things with friends like all black mages in an unsynced Aurum Vale (burning that place to the ground never gets old) and unsynced Castrum/Praetorium for newbies. I've been having a lot of fun leveling up various battle classes and trying out all the new changes to them. That also gives me something to do with all the excess law tomes I end up with. It also gives me new fun opportunities for glamour. :3

Im kinda in the same boat. I have a static and a lovely fc i belong in, love my DRK and NIN, but...

I miss making webcomics. I want something i can discuss with people, people cannot relate to an mmorpg they don't play.
Now that im done with obsessing over endgame, i think ill look into some other things that'll make me happy.
