After being busy and not being able to play ffxiv for almost a week i started to realize that WOW when i came back not much happened.
Its just the good ol
- cap crafter/ gatherer red scrips
- check retainers
- craft a few things and sell em
- log off

I can't really bother with eso caps cuz i don't raid and am not in need of i200 stuff as if i missed a cap it'd be the end of the world ( missed 2 eso ca

I also can barely have enough will power to grind favors lol.
So a lot of ppl say IT WILL PAY OFF IN THE END.
Im a crafter and i am crafting HQ 2 stars for 3.1 but at this rate turn in non crafted 2 stars will yield better results.
Cuz atm U are not racing to be the top geared lol
But with all this grind im just like wow maybe i really hit a rut in the game and am not enjoying it before where stuff outside of raiding still gave a sense of progression.

I play the game to enjoy wasting time, i dont play the game to waste time playing it like a job.

I'm the same - I'm passively getting enough eso for a weapon or two, but I'm in no way bothered with capping or even doing dailys. I'll just level MCH because it's the most fun I've had in FFXIV since FCoB. Not doing savage either, just doesn't feel interesting to me in the way the coils did.

Were you expecting a different game after a week break? If no major patch is released what would change during a weeks time?

No rut here. I log in, do my 15 kills, hit up the Cactpot, and then go about whatever I happen to care about. If I don't have my Alex drops, I spam that as a Tank for the tanking achievements, if I'm done with Alex, but haven't capped, I'll spam some Seal Rock instead. If I've capped, and I'm in the mood to level, I spam some dungeons on whatever class happens to catch my fancy. My gatherers and crafters are being ignored for now, since I don't actually need to get them to 60 to repair my gear, but I figure, I'll get to them eventually. Say, once everything else is 60, which is my current lazy goal.

I wouldn't call it a rut, but I'm starting to feel the grind after levelling a few extra classes to 60, haha.
I wish pvp was more active. I could literally lose all day and still have a blast just because the enemy uses tactics instead of standing there taking hits.

I cap because I'm in a progression static, but about the only thing that interests me in this game currently is PVP (thank god I can cap while doing that, or else I'd go mad). If it weren't for the fact that I'd get replaced from my static permanently for doing so, I'd likely unsub until 3.1, and this is coming from someone who has been a loyal subscriber since launch.

I feel like this game has a dearth of interesting content ATM.

Each match is 20 Esos, and I think 40 Law. Doing your daily PVP roulette will net you an additional 20 Esos and 40 Law, as well as an additional 400 PVP exp. About 20 matches a week mixed in with a few other activities will cap you.
