Please do not turn off your chat in dungeons

As a piece of advice, if you encounter a player who consistently fails to communicate, doesn't respond even when using the translator, and stands in boss mechanics despite being told not to, its time to use the kick feature. It doesn't matter how easy the dungeon is. Just kick them, because they'll only make other parties' lives miserable until they learn not to do that.

I can understand it's very frustrating when this happens, I've had a few dungeon runs like this myself. There could be many reasons why a person won't use chat, even if they can't type people can follow instructions, even using translate. And this is nice, polite instruction, not being rude I might add. I had a run where using smilies, emotes, even auto-translate to ask for the tank to pull the dragon out of the poison pools in Brayflox, because of the regen, met with no response or acknowledgement. Or their controller might be playing up, I dunno, stuff happens sometimes :/ I don't like kicking at all, but if something becomes impossible to complete because of a particular mechanic, then well... what does one do?

I always enjoy going into Alexander as Warrior and the other Tank refuses to speak to me at all when i ask whether they want MT or OT, North/South or if they want to swap at certain stacks etc.

Mostly I just turn off party/alliance chat for CTs. If the new 24 raid is anything like it, I'll do the same... But on the other hand, I don't stand in stuff, handle mechanics, etc. Never been kicked for it; no one cares as long as you handle the encounter competently.

OH this dose my nut balls in! I mean why?!? yeah I turn off my HUD chat log but I have noti sound on when someone types in party chat so when I hear it I click back on to see what been said but yeah super annoying when people don't respond.

Like this one time I was doing T11 with my friend, he asked for No noob bonus but low and behold as soon as we entered it, 100 tomes will be rewarded so through talking and trial and error we figured it out to be this WHM who turned out to be french so my friend who could speak french tried talking to him, like do you know strat? know what to do etc, in the end the WHM caused us to wipe loads of time and then of course we quited the raid AND then the WHM talks, "I didn't see any form of talking to me"

......there was enough words in there directed to him to fill a mini book.

Some people just don't wanna listen to others drama about DPS it's reason they shut it off.

Also if the person knows the fight and is getting nagged about how they should do their job, people don't wanna listen to that either, they paid the 12-15 dollars and learned the fight probably won if a few times and when someone is telling them what they should or shouldn't do it causes a fight.

Best option is to shut it off and listen to nothing.

Though I am sure people who don't understand fight keep it on so not sure what to tell you.

I rarely if encounter this, wouldn't be enough to turn it off, in fact turning it off aint gonna stop them from trying to tell you how to DPS. The main thing is you take on board what they say to you, not like reading it will cloud your judgement.

I never understood why people don't talk in dungeons. I have ran into a lot of nice/funny people in them. Plus, if no one says anything. Not even a hello. I don't give them coms because I find that disrespectful. I don't care how well you did. I just want a bloody Hello.
