It's still far better than it was before, where GSM goblin jigs were giving the same number of blue scrips as a BSM weapon.
It surprises me that someone looked over this stuff and thought it was balanced.
It takes 57 adamantite nuggets to cap red scrips with GSM if you get the jig. 57 collectible item crafts. Im not sure how its an improvement when one class gets shafted. I'm not sure how they thought nerfing some class's turn ins would help anyone.
Anyone with a choice will go for the carpenter/alchemist etc turn ins anyway. Blacksmithing isnt going to be a favored pick as long as it takes time gated resources.

It's still an improvement over scrip returns taking only the recipe level into consideration while completely ignoring the fact that a level 57 GSM recipe takes significantly less time and resources to craft than a level 57 BSM recipe, which is exactly how it was designed prior to the hot fix.
I'm not saying it's perfect at the moment, but the way it was before this hot fix was so asinine that I question whether a human actually looked it over. It feels like I'm playing on a PTR.
Also just going off of the current red scrip turn in. GSM is Chrysolite Ring of Aiming and BSM is Adamantite MCH weapon. Pretty much any BSM or ARM recipe is stupidly expensive to make because of adamantite.

I agree with that, but this isnt much better. Red scrips turn ins literally got + 30% on everything, with one or two adjustments here and there. It's still an improvement over scrip returns taking only the recipe level into consideration while completely ignoring the fact that a level 57 GSM recipe takes significantly less time and resources to craft than a level 57 BSM recipe, which is exactly how it was designed prior to the hot fix.

Their additional adjustments completely ignored the fact that you need to make them into a collectible which takes time.
But the reason its screwed up to begin with is the whole unspoiled nodes and hidden the did.
With the whole crafting/gathering deal now, and after being stuck with my airship (I was a forerunner, now im a whole 9 sectors behind) for weeks...(1 sector in 4 weeks time)
I'm honestly convinced they just dont really give a damn.
