I'm sorry but too much has damage has been done regards crafting. There's Zero signs of any improvements. Any half decent patches are months away. So what do I do? Stop crafting and just level up my Esoterics limit. Stop playing the game full stop? Truth is square enix. It's no longer worth playing. TWO YEARS for 8 sets of armor and you still ain't explained any reason for this except simple greed for money. Of not that then I'm paying for a few hours gaming per week. I don't believe your MMO deserves a monthly fee. Just like we don't deserve a working product. Working crafts and working crafted armors. It doesn't even matter anymore. While you take your time ignoring us. Were just ending up further and further behind.

You can still spend as much time crafting as you desire. Everything is still unlimited apart from those crafts at the very high end with weekly capped things involved. I've been spending more time crafting in the expansion than I did previously, helping people out with leveling gear, glamors, furnishings, airship parts, meals, etc.

There's just nothing to do anymore. I've always enjoyed Culinarian crafting. And yet this expansion is telling me I need to do 3-4 times more for these red scripts then any other role... I can't read minds. And didn't know this would happen before red scripts was added. And yet I have to totally change my game around now to fit. Even after a patch, my crafting at level 60 with Culinarian is pointless. I need to start again and do another craft. That's not right in my oipinion for a game I'm paying for monthly. I should be able to do what the rest do, and get the same. But I'm not even bothered about my Culinarian not being able to make the HQ armor. I don't even want it. Just want the turn-ins armors for my Culinarian.

Would be a bit unfair, if CLN get the same rewards as the other crafter. Pff, i guess you have to pay 1/10 for mats, if you buy them from MB, than other classes have to.

Time- and moneywise it's still better to use CLN for red scrips than any other crafting class, I think.

Look at any BSM/ARM scrip recipe, 2-3 adaman nuggets. It takes 5 ore for one nugget, and it's a timed node, so you can make 3 nuggets (15 ore) every 35 minutes.

Yeah. But look at Deep Fried Okeanis. I need 45 of these, and 3 pieces of Okeanis meat per one... That's 135 items. That's 13 and a half hours of retainer gathering or god knows how long me doing it myself. That's without other ingredients.

That's two times per day sending out one retainer to get your mats for the week. This is even doable, if you're only playing 60 mins a day (sending him out when you start and when you end playing).. i guess you play more? You don't need to get all 135 in one day. You don't have to only make one food.

5x retainer for Okeanis = meat for 16 crafts; 4x gathering Morels and 2x Spinach (that's 2 times 1/2 ET-day: 0:00 Morel, 06:00 Spinach, 12:00 Morel, being busy with gathering about max 10 mins in those 35 minutes for two days/week) = all timegated mats for 30 Morel Salads.
'Hardest' part done. Rest of the week: Another 4x Morels, 2x Spinach and 5x retainers of Okeanis and you're even done for next week with those mats...

One BSM-craft may take the same time gathering and way more expensive other stuff (cause crafted by other jobs, starting often with 9k+ for even lvl 52 mats)... for just one item.
