'Put an AH' indeed. Where to put it is the question. How about next to the MWs that way we can see whether or not the MWs really are, as some claim, a new and interesting in game system worthy of continued use.

I wager a sack full of marmot heads the MW would rapidly fall into obscurity and very few people would continue to bother using it.

That being said, for the time being we have a system of some kind that meets the most basic needs in an MMO economy and not a drop more, that is to say the ability for players to sell their goods to other players. They gave it a better search function which was a decent bandage for now.

The AH/MW/Other debate at this point should take a back seat to things that are totally absent, like mount systems (which are soon to arrive), mailboxes, complete lack of LS administration tools, 'content', the job system etc... While it might be said that the quality of many existing in game systems is sorely lacking at least those systems exist in some form as opposed to not at all. I'd think one would want to tackle the larger 'not at all' issues before the barely functional (but present) systems we have now.
