Market Wards fixes: A definitive list and petition

Firstly, if you feel that the market wards is perfectly fine the way it is, I respectively wish that you decline to comment with “the wards are fine the way they are”. It’s very obvious from polls that the majority of the game population feels there is a problem with this market system.

First off, respectfully, you cannot rely on forums to tell you the majority on anything. There has been a loud, squeaky wheel about the MW, but this only proves there are posters who absolutely hate them, not how many feel that way, or how many feel the opposite, or even the probability of many people with feelings inbetween the issue. Also, feeling the market wards "are fine" is just as valid as you feeling they are not, and those voices should be heard as well. Especially since, if changes are to be made, then those people might be unhappy with them, and the shoe will be on the other foot.

Now, for me personally, I like them the way they are. I like the retainers, and I like the window shopping from retainer to retainer. My time in the wards is well spent as far as I am concerned. And really, that is the issue here, isn't it? It's about how you spend your time. I think that people who don't want to spend an overly long time in the MW have a valid complaint. But I honestly wish people would stop trading the insults, on both sides.

What I would like to see is a hybrid of sorts. Convenience for the people in a hurry and immersion for the people who want to window shop. Or the ability to buy from your house, I thought that was a pretty cool idea as well.

When they get to it, I have no doubt changes will be made to the wards, one way or another. The fact that they have been completely silent about it tells me they either haven't had time to address it, or they don't have it worked out yet. Regardless, they are going to do what they decide to do, and they will do whatever they think will be best for the game.

....again the persons comment still holds up, that was 1-4 that are on these forums....... not even half of the player base posts on these forums, so...... that 1-4 turns into less then 1/4 the player base.

No game has or will have 100% of the game's community on their game's forum. However the forums still have a reasonable amount of people from the game with varying views of what needs to be done and what shouldn't. Were not all like minded here or you wouldn't be disagreeing with me. You can think of it as a blood sample representing how the body is feeling. Bottom line is that the people on the forums statistically represent the game as a large sample group and thereby have integrity in their complaints or agreements.

The question was "Which of the following would you like to see implemented first?" not "Which would you like to be implemented." You make it sound as if that other 75% don't want changes when that is wrong. They would just like to see other stuff implemented first. The fact that auction houses was the second most asked for thing to be firstly implemented actually shows that a very large percent of the community at least has a problem with the wards. I feel we have waited long enough to at least hear some news on whats going to happen with the wards.
