There was a post on the front page, as you posted this, and at least 2-3 had gone by in the last month. You could have easily posted in one of those and continued the discussion, but instead chose to make yet another thread asking the same thing.

I guess people don't use forums as much anymore to know the old saying "use the search feature".

There was a post asking for the event. I am requesting the items. Again, either point out where at any point I whined or please be an adult and leave.

So you do not want others to convince "the devs to change the game to suit themselves." In this instance, that would involve them obtaining the items. Thus, you do not want them to be able to obtain the items, as that would require the devs changing the game to suit these players. I don't see how I misconstrued your point in any fashion.

If your point was to complain about people complaining, then fine, but it doesn't come off that way to me.

These "two people" seem to get more support from the forums than you do, so maybe they're not alone in not liking these cash shop requests. Not to mention that they're not the ones "missreading" what other people say, as some of you seem fond of saying that we don't want anyone else getting these things when we've said quite the opposite, literally.

Let me ask you a couple of things. What is better, to get this in the cash shop, or to get it in-game? Why don't you give them suggestions to put these items to be obtainable in-game? Someone suggested to put them as Gold Saucer rewards. Is it that hard to ask SE to make something like that instead of going the easy and lazy way? Remember that back then there wasn't any cash shop, so all those items where made using the money from our subs. Therefore, they don't have to cover any expenses originated from making them, thus it would be fair to keep them in-game instead of further monetizing them. Not to mention that we're still paying our subs, as far as I know.

We know that SE is a company and that they're here to make money. But as customers we can tell them when we think that it's enough. If we don't, they'll keep pushing the line. Don't fool yourselves, I'm sure that not having every Moonfire Faire item on the cash shop, as happened in previous events, is partly due to these same complaints on the past (in the past, not the last few weeks, for those of you new to the forums). Now don't tell me that you didn't like it being available in-game, come on.

That's why they were quickly shooed off by the majority of the posters here, i'm sure. This isn't a post debating the cash shop, go elsewhere if you'd like to do that because I won't be entertaining you, the cash shop is in and it isn't going anywhere so you may as well adjust to that fact and move along.

Most people do not even post anymore in these threads, as they don't find it worth their time because of the attitude of some other posters. But just look at the amount of likes of each post and you'll quickly notice something.

And we aren't debating the cash shop per se here. If you read our posts again you'll see that we have been quite on topic, as what we are saying is that there's a better alternative than to ask for everything to be put there. I suggest you to read again my previous post (the one from where you just quoted that part), as I think that I explained it pretty well.

SE has my support to continue putting items in the cash shop, nothing wrong with optional items that no one is forced to buy.
I recently got the bomb dance emote off there and would welcome the Lightning event items.
