A new day, so hopefully we can get some support rather than 2 people who can't stand the idea of the cash shop trying to yell at other people about it.

These "two people" seem to get more support from the forums than you do, so maybe they're not alone in not liking these cash shop requests. Not to mention that they're not the ones "missreading" what other people say, as some of you seem fond of saying that we don't want anyone else getting these things when we've said quite the opposite, literally.
Let me ask you a couple of things. What is better, to get this in the cash shop, or to get it in-game? Why don't you give them suggestions to put these items to be obtainable in-game? Someone suggested to put them as Gold Saucer rewards. Is it that hard to ask SE to make something like that instead of going the easy and lazy way? Remember that back then there wasn't any cash shop, so all those items where made using the money from our subs. Therefore, they don't have to cover any expenses originated from making them, thus it would be fair to keep them in-game instead of further monetizing them. Not to mention that we're still paying our subs, as far as I know.
We know that SE is a company and that they're here to make money. But as customers we can tell them when we think that it's enough. If we don't, they'll keep pushing the line. Don't fool yourselves, I'm sure that not having every Moonfire Faire item on the cash shop, as happened in previous events, is partly due to these same complaints on the past (in the past, not the last few weeks, for those of you new to the forums). Now don't tell me that you didn't like it being available in-game, come on.
And that's what we are saying.
That's why they were quickly shooed off by the majority of the posters here, i'm sure. This isn't a post debating the cash shop, go elsewhere if you'd like to do that because I won't be entertaining you, the cash shop is in and it isn't going anywhere so you may as well adjust to that fact and move along.
Most people do not even post anymore in these threads, as they don't find it worth their time because of the attitude of some other posters. But just look at the amount of likes of each post and you'll quickly notice something. That's why they were quickly shooed off by the majority of the posters here, i'm sure. And we aren't debating the cash shop per se here. If you read our posts again you'll see that we have been quite on topic, as what we are saying is that there's a better alternative than to ask for everything to be put there. I suggest you to read again my previous post (the one from where you just quoted that part), as I think that I explained it pretty well.
SE has my support to continue putting items in the cash shop, nothing wrong with optional items that no one is forced to buy.
I recently got the bomb dance emote off there and would welcome the Lightning event items.
I would love to have the items in the Cash Shop, and I am surprised it's not already in there.. Please SE!
I think they aren't in the cash shop because SE will have the event again. The things in the cash shop are usually stuff from past events that can no longer be obtained.
And others have mentioned that Lightning Return is going to be released on the PC, so the event will probably be around that time.

Tanking is a job, DPSing is a science and Healing is an art.
If the Tank dies, it's the Healer's fault. If the Healer dies, it's the Tank's fault. If the DPS dies, it's their own damn fault.
Lightning Strikes events and other limited time item rewards are created in addition to the usual patch cycles, developed using money from players paying their subscriptions. We've already paid them to generate these items and events. I'm not averse to people having chances to obtain said items, but I would much rather see them offered as in game rewards, be it at a special vendor or by offering another chance at the event, so that new players have both a chance to acquire cool items and participate in unique events and maybe whet their appetite for future events to come, rather than just throw money in the cash shop for something that has already been paid for and developed.
While a fair point, this topic isn't about the cash shop itself or anyone's opinion of it. It's about the only realistic way to request items from previous events that are no longer obtainable, which has been proven as the case with the Minifilia minion and the old Moonfire items. Again, this is about the items, not in any way about the cash shop or your opinion in it.
So you are against the opportunity to obtain the items in the game? That's what I proposed. While a fair point, this topic isn't about the cash shop itself or anyone's opinion of it.
