I have a friend that bought a house and quit the gameTaking away stuff from players because they are not active anymore is terrible, and doesn`t even fit as a solution, as the words of yoshida himself say, he thinks that is a solution, and is horrible.
All i read there is "Why would we work on our coding or servers if we have this lazy alternative that doesn`t even fix the problem but its ok for a few".
I hope they recosider just like at the first time they did thought of this.
.. I doubt they are coming back since they deleted all their stuff before they left. The house is still standing though. Empty.

Just give the masses their instanced housing with a yard and everything. I'm so tired of this argument. As soon as you all get a house in the wards you're going to flop sides. I know you're going to say you won't, then you'll drop 20mil on a house and realize you're never getting it back.

Never getting the 20 mil back, or never getting the house back? Either way, I'm not unsubbing so it doesn't apply to me. Heck I still pay $18/month for XI and I haven't logged in in months...Just give the masses their instanced housing with a yard and everything. I'm so tired of this argument. As it stands right now, if you purchase a house. You never get that money back. You can't sell the house, you can only relinquish your right to it, in which you get a grand refund of 0 gil. The only way to to get money for your house is sell your free company if its a FC house or if it's a private estate your only option is try to find someone willing to buy you off the plot and then purchase the plot at the starting rate. Which if you just send someone 20 mil you're probably going to get flagged as a gil seller. Plus, they're under no obligation to actually relinquish the plot either. They could just take the money and run.
Unless there is an agreement in chat. Can be reported and SE takes a very dim view on oathbreakers. As it stands right now, if you purchase a house. You never get that money back.
