Please tell me why I can have two palette-swapped versions of the exact same shirt (Divine Light and Divine Hero) and yet only be allowed to glamour one of them. Does my character magically lose the ability to button up the red shirt when she is a different job? It's exactly the same as the white one-- literally the only difference between those two pieces of gear is the color. There is zero logical reason not to allow BRDs and NINs to glamour both shirts.

Pot, Kettle, etc, if you seriously think what i said meant any of that, its due to the fact everyone will be able to wear anything, and there will be no exclusive. we have plenty of things already to mix and match, do you desperatly REALLY want to wear every jobs set? There's no coherency in your argument. More options = greater opportunity to make your character feel as you want it, be it unique or not. If you don't want to glamour plate on a mage or whatever, then nothing forces you, but the people who want to do so should be able to.

Talk about getting over it. You need to get over what other people do with their characters.

It dosn't it's just a simple failure of understanding how the glamour system in this game works. Regardless of the "sense" it makes.

But this is getting tired. Simply put: if you cannot equip the gear normally, you cannot wear it. Complaining about it all day and night isn't going to change it. But that is all these forums are mostly.

Since that restriction has been removed, why not just open them up entirely to be used in the glamour system?

To add to my earlier comment, while I don't see any reason to NOT allow AF and all other gear to be glamoured freely, I personally would not be upset if they kept AF locked to just the job. I understand both sides of the argument relating to AF, but there really is no reason to keep all the other gear locked.


With the new expansion, they are already reusing skins on new armor for new classes(example: the Hussar gear is now used for DoH/all classes), so why the barrier?

It's not a technical issue at all, just a design/ artistic choice that the devs aren't consistent in.

Do you ever pay attention to this game systems?
Let's say they are wacky and hardly connect at all. The very notion of using an item that you cannot equip would blow up the whole game :P

My main issue with this is really the fact that while we have these restrictions, NPCs do not have the restrictions at all
