    Astro ideas

    Hi! I rarely post anything here but watching how Astros really need something more at the moment and I had some ideas on mind for a while now I wanted to share them. It might be too late or it might not since there is maintenance today. *Prays for buffs* So here are some ideas:

    Draw - change the cooldown to 15s same as Royal Road with the addition to give 2 or 3% of mp back

    Shuffle - cd of 30s

    Enhanced Benefic - make it instant and reduce the cost of the spell by 25% (like Lightspeed)

    Nocturnal Sect - Add a passive trait to reduce 5% or 10% mp consumption on Aspected abilities

    Bole or Balance - added effect of Increasing 10% of Spell-based Hp Restoration

    What do you guys think? Just want to help bring this job back to the race.

    Scholar's Succor crits don't act like Adlo where the shield is doubled so Aspcted Helios and Succor are about the same but Adlo is superior to Aspected Benefic.

    I would said 25 sec for draw & shuffle. 15 is too fast, it would be op to be able to put 10% buff everytime on someone.

    The thing is, with draw giving you back mp and Noct sect giving you more room for usage with the less mana consumption on aspected abilities you will be able to use them much more often than the 1k mp adloquium. And aspected benefic is instant! All to make it feel more astrologian less scholar

    Maybe 20s? What I want is to apply the cards to your healing. Since you'll get 12% mp back in one minute using cards if the cd is 15s. Plus people have been talking about not feeling the cards much and how Selene can buff the party better. This way, no buff to cards is necesary and you'll get to use them and feel them much more often. Plus since they give mp back it will prompt people to use them asap making them think faster just to have Draw on cooldown. It is a positive exchange as they did not give us healing cooldowns because we have the cards.

    I'd like the cards to be made more fluid feeling and interactive. Royal road and spread are both great abilities, but having to wait 30 seconds after for another card feels a bit clunky and the buffs, underwhelming. Having royal road and spread draw another card after using them would be a really nice touch and bring the buffing side of AST up to be the focus of the job rather than feeling stuck on the side.

    Think about it.

    Draw Ewer
    Royal Road (re-draw)
    Draw Bole
    Spread (re-draw)
    Draw Ewer
    Shuffle
    Draw Ewer
    Toss AoE Ewer and bole the tank...
    QQ
    Repeat 30 seconds later

    Would still be really nice to be able to burn those CD's without delaying our next card.

    I think draws are "fine". I love to see the more uninventive cards like spear to be made into something creative. Like granting a Barrage/Duality. But thats not really a balance concern.

    Something I love to see is some buffs for Disable. I love it to be a aoe. If targeted near a group of mobs it effects all of them. Disable is a really fun skill to use but its hyper situation like old Uwer/Spire card design. I would love to see it tweaked so it has multiple situations of usefulness such as E4E.

    This wouldn't be bad, and probably better than the crappy change they did to LS/ewer in terms of mp. Either that or add a skill that sacrifices the drawn card for mp (looking at you spire).
