It's one thing if they pull more than the group can handle. If they pull extra mobs and you end up dying because the healer can't keep up, then of course that's a problem. But if they pull more and you can handle the pull, then there's literally nothing to complain about. At that point you're being just as selfish (and a control freak) as the DPS if not moreso... And my main is a DRK.

I don't give a rip if DPS pull more mobs if 1) they don't pull too many and 2) if they come stand near me when they do so I can easily scoop them up.
If it doesn't bother you, then good on you. But it's hardly being selfish or a control freak to expect people to do their own jobs rather than try to take over yours because you're not living up to their standards.
Yeah, stooping to their level isn't the best idea. But what other choice do you have? It's either let them do it, let them tank it, or let them do it, take the mobs off them and let them receive no consequences for their actions. Either way, it's frustrating.

In fact, it doesn't even matter what class does what. tbh the main reason I just let people die is because I'm sick of bad attitudes, whatever the class. So I give as good as I get, because I've had enough of trying to be nice to these people and getting sod all back for the effort. And that's the point the OP was making, that there's a growing issue of people wanting to speedrun everything and votekicking people who don't agree or are new and thus "holding them back/wasting their time". It's awful and if I didn't have to use the DF for some stuff, I would literally only run with people I know to avoid this crap.
