Wat.
You're a bad WHM, and Miasma 2 has plenty of use in aoe situations. Or do you not DPS, ever, as SCH?
Also, BLM has use for thunder 1.
I hate it because I feel like its unnecessary to have both Abyssal Drain and Unleash, Not really a fan of the HP drain from the dark arts either. Seems like a wasted skill to me when we could have gotten something more useful :/
you stifled your jobs potential by not reading tool tips. barrage was great pre-HW, and its good post-HW. And really? you never used hawk eye? its a straight boost to your main stat. it always has been.I've actually found use for abilities that seemed useless to me pre 51~60. Barrage, being an auto-attack buff, never saw any use before Heavensward. Now I try to keep it handy for when I need to triple-down an action. I never used Hawk's Eye, either. Now it's part of my buff macro. Seriously, Heavensward opened my class' potential, not stifled it.

it doesn't pull more threat than unleash, costs more than unleash, and isn't worth the huge mp cost for the self heal unless against more than three mobs. (also bloodbath does not work with magic attacks.)
for me...i would have to go with abyssal drain post heavensward, awareness during raids pre and post heavensward besides for warrior (for that matter all warrior cc skills when not on warrior besides mercy stroke), most crowd control skills outside of raid content.

Purely situational of course, but I would always Tempered Will the second Heavensfall in T9. Lethargy helped slow down Dreadknights in T5, and while poor Shadowbind got nerfed into the ground (for PvP), it's at least given me time to escape a few accidental open world pulls.
I can see it being amazing for large pulls I myself use it specifically for that, but it being tied to Blood price's duration because it being too costly on mp is still a turn-down for me.
Still think its a wasted skill because we can definitely do fine without it. Maybe if Unleash didn't exist then this skill would probably be awesome.
Agreed, tempered will is great for countering bosses you like to push you back towards frsyj, or suck you in towards the center of things (ie more death). Again another purely situational skill, but that doesn't mean it has its uses for a glorious save.Purely situational of course, but I would always Tempered Will the second Heavensfall in T9. Posting from my phone, so no editing:
For the person who mentioned using Wide Volley over Quick Nock, Quick Nock crits more often, crits higher, and costs slightly less TP. Try it out!
