Server Questions : Aoe kills me :(

You can be on the other side of the room but if you have only just got out of the AoE, if the cast bar finished by the time you left it, it will make it look like you were out of it but in fact it is just animation delay combined with lag so it can look quite skewed. And yes you should probably be playing on the server closest to your location in this case EU.

There IS no server closer to her location seeing as currently all NA and EU servers are in the same place. Which is Montreal.

Oh right, well everything else still counts, animation delay and lag combined will kill people dead in their tracks. Try out WTFast OP it is a great tool for people that lag.

My question is thus:
Does WTFast trigger the account security lockout?

As an Australian wanting to get my latency as low as possible, i have a WTFast sub, But ive never tried it in XIV because i worry that it'll be seen as logging in from a different location and thus triggering the password change.

Not if you use the one-time password feature...get either the free smartphone app or buy a physical token. As an added bonus you can set one crystal as a free teleport location.
