Overworld endgame objectives; Sky/Sea/Pop-item NMs (use the leve system)
Additional/Ability modification stat systems & equipment
Campaign style content
Besieged/Dynamis style content
Einherjar
Assault style content (Guildhest +1 ???)

Mog houses! I realize these were just customizable inn rooms but I did so love them. Imo that is how FFXIV should have done personal housing, like a instanced apartment building.
The other housing areas would have just been for FC halls.

The designing experience of previously making an MMO and applying it to XIV, learning from their previous design mistakes, and being able to apply a new variety of things. Still waiting for this...

Gears with Stats
Making FFXIV less easy adding more difficulty in regular mobs and world content not just adding Savage Alexander and thinking you did the FFXI players a favour.
Make the game and gears rewarding and find the balance the FFXI had that some gears from level 20 where actually good.
Bring THF RDM BLU ASAP since ALOT of the community is requesting this.
I wouldnt mind more FFXI monsters.
More FFXI gearsets would be nice to see here just for the nostalgia.
More bosses on worldmap where you need to proc them to defeat them or proc them to get better drops etc to make stuff more tactical than playing FFXIV Dynasty Warriors button mash reborn LOL

They kind of had these in 1.0, but they would pop really quickly.
I know S-E got in some hot water for Pandemonium Warden taking 18 hours and people getting sick from playing too long, but I really miss hunting low level NMs.
LMAO I remember that being on the news. People trying to sleep/ passing out taking turns trying to fight that VHMN. What do you expect 18 hours on nothing buy Mnt Dew and pizza?!?!?Low level lottery pop NMs.

How about the way mobs would link in FFXI? Pulls were all about finding that perfect moment when the other mobs weren't looking, if you linked too many your party had to run or end up wiping. In FFXIV mob links are boring....
