After two non-laggy lockouts (total lockouts: 3.5--yay aether data centre >.<), my group finally hit AS1 enrage.

I can solo heal the first bit (until 0.5 Oppressor Drops, aka "the split") comfortably now with no mana issues whatsoever, but there are times where my group's positioning is not the greatest, so I have to spend a few more casts to top someone else off--we'll work on this though! Disable and Collective Unconscious have seen frequent use from me now as a Disable near the start of double raid-AoEs helps immensely with healing and Collective Unconscious helps me top everyone off before the next mechanic (thanks A1S AST videos). In addition to that, I've also been using Collective Unconscious after using a Benefic II proc (or Lightspeed) to fish for a tick of HP. Quite nice to heal two targets if it ticks, especially since sometimes we're not doing anything during that GCD).

But anywho, I'm excited to beat AS1 soon. My group most likely has to work on positioning more (and more coordinating).

Just a opinion though, does anyone else feel like AST's Card System is not as synergistic as you'd want it to be with their healing kit? Scholar's utility ties into mitigation and helps with healing, and White Mage's utility ties into pumping more HPS. Astrologiain's utility is DPS, which kind of helps; however, it depends on your raid group's DPS and kind of helps healing as you're supposedly going to push phases faster with more DPS, but since its RNG all the effects are just "nice to have" and don't really tie into our healing kit in a visible way Scholars and White Mages would. Maybe perhaps add in a passive for Royal Road or Spread (as mentioned by someone) to provide some sort of benefit for using it, instead of a hopeful 30+ second setup for a powerful buff. o3o
