    For instanced mining and crafting content, i think it would have to involve a different crafting and gathering system than what we have now.

    That said, i do think its possible to simulate a cave in operation, or mass producing stuff for ishgard.

    In fact, that's kinda what i hoped the fc workshop was for.

    The solution is very simple people there has been and there is still only one thing that is keeping funner content that won't be just a straight line run it has plagued us since 2.0 we didn't see it because at the time we thought it was a good thing to have but down the line it has forced every dungeon trial any sort of group content to be this way and it is high time the reason of what's at fault to be removed reworked or make pregrouping more rewarding.

    Its high time we remove the duty finder
    keep the duty roulettes but it needs to be removed this thing is why we don't have fun content and why everything from tome grinding and the like feels like a chore.

    I have no issue with the dungeon model per se but I am disappointed that for expert roulette there are only 2 possible dungeons a player gets thrown in (but really... it's ALWAYS Neverreap!).

    It should've been a minimum of 3 possible dungeons but I feel 4 would've been a satisfactory for, you know... an actual EXPANSION.

    The numbers of those dungeons will increase with each main patch, until the community start to complain that there are too many dungeons in the roulette (see 2.x)

    Seriously though, only having 2 options at the beginning of the first expansion is considered adequate? Also, I've never heard anyone complain that there were too many dungeons in the expert roulette. Most people tend to like variety, especially when it comes to any kind of grind.

    Or you can not go to that extreme and just add side content that is less linear. I do want to see your proposed idea for getting old content filled with players so that people who are behind can catch up since your idea of no duty finder would mean no one filling in the gaps.

    how about a dungeon-type area with many different objectives, some that could be done with small groups or even solo for incremental progress, larger encounters for bigger groups, exploration and pathing decisions, etc.

    as it is now, you get that one first experience of a new dungeon/primal/raid, but the areas are all completely homogenous and the background is merely pretty decoration. i'd settle for much blander environment with more engaging content within any day.
    How about Hamlet Defense and Caravan Escort Duties from 1.0 being brought back?
