The way I interpreted their post was in reference to their pre-HW SMN career and in any content <= lvl 50 that's before the usefulness of Physick really starts to drop off.Really? No offense, but I'm doubtful. I can heal for about 400-500 at lvl 60. That's like a quarter of a dungeon boss' autoattack.
I don't doubt that you threw out some heals at dire times and got through it, but I think you might be overestimating how much of that was because of your 445 physick.
Edit: Unrelated note, why does everyone in this thread seem to be under the impression casters heal for 1k? We heal for about half of that. I'm not convinced that many of you have any idea what you're talking about.
Ah ok I probably read the tool tip as '% of Summoner's HP' when it must say '% of Summon's HP'. And it does make more sense to have it be based on the pet's HP, I remember thinking WTF when I read the tooltip and thought it said it was based off mine.
Just use X-potions.
TLDR: I want my caster to be able to heal, dps, and tank.
You do realize that letting caster dps cast heals means that healers will be replaced and typical dps expected to heal. It's almost like you want to roll a healer... Wish that was in the game.../sarcasm
Get off yer high horse. Scaling on a couple of things since expansion has been borked(sup 14k FATE in new areas), this is one of them. Nobody's asking for a caster to be able to heal like a healer, but to have the spell work like it did at 50. You remember that right? How SMN/BLM's physick healed a decent chunk of HP to help in "oh shit!" or while soloing? But it didn't heal enough to replace healers? Remember that?
By Altana, some people will say "NO!" to even logical requests.

He want's an impact similar to healers. So yes, he is asking for heals like healers (for physik/cure).Do anybody else have that feeling Physick have so horrible scaling at lvl 60? In lvl 50 it healed like 10% your max hp, but now it heal only 5% max hp. Yah I know you should not need use it in most of content, but still.. Especially in pvp it make huge impact if there is not healers around.
And, apparently you don't think about wider impacts. If a blm for example, can heal for 10% or more of someones life, with infinite mana due to Umbral Ice (much like they could at low levels) balance at higher levels goes out the window. This is especially important if you want to keep the game "balanced" and doubly so for "pvp balance."
This is a very obvious reason for splitting caster gear into int and mnd pieces because having gear that gave both gave healers too much damage and DPS classes too much healing potential (lesser but still relevant issue)

Could not agree more. If dps were doing their job correctly then us healers should never have to dps and the only reason why we need dps skills is so we can do solo content
Nowhere in the OP is he/she asking for casters to have Physick heal similar to healers. Learn to read. They asked, specifically, if the scaling of the spell could work like it did at 50, now that we're 60. This is not unreasonable. Nobody bitched about SMN/BLM's physick's being overpowered at 50. Nobody stopped bring healers and loaded up on casters because "they could heal, dps, and tank all at once!".First. OP

Nobody did ANYTHING your saying they'd do now at 60, when we were 50 if the spell were scaled properly to account for the 10 extra levels and near 100 item levels. Why would they now? Oh, right, they wouldn't. Yer just pulling shit out of the aether to say "NO!".
You are on some sorta SJW kick... Tone it down, I am not trying to assassinate your crippled asthmatic kitten. Just because someone doesn't agree with a point, doesn't mean you need to get all angsty. Chillax.Nowhere in the OP is he/she asking for casters to have Physick heal similar to healers.
