I know he said that but that still doesn't mean anything.

Exactly just because he says he's taking a break doesn't mean the patch will be 4 to 5 months later. If it does take 4 to 5 months later just watch the some of the people who don't raid will be complaining that there's not enough content. Since some people don't craft don't gather. Think that eso will be enough to keep them going. I for one don't think so since people keep saying you don't need more then ilvl 170 if you don't do savage.

Seriously....?
Normal time between major content patches without breaks = 3 months
Time between major content patch with a break (undisclosed amount of time) = More than 3 months
Could that mean 3 months + 1 week? Sure. But it's very likely it will be longer than that. Better to be realistic rather than getting your hopes up.
So glad you think your a part of SE. I think that you should take your own advice and get real.Seriously....?

Honestly, as I have no intents of trying to find a static to do Savage anytime soon, and still have plenty of content to do before then, my esoterics are going into armor and accessories rather than saving up for the weapon. By the time I get around to content that would really need it, 3.1 and relics will be out and I'll be upgrading my weapon through that. Right now, my 180 weapon will suffice until I get around to Ravana EX. I'm still upgrading all my normal gear to Law and upgrading my current Law gear because despite enjoying combat very much, and being further than all but one of my friends, I don't focus purely on it......
Erm.... "Take a break" implies "not working so much".
Either 3.1 will be " on time" and tiny, or delayed and larger.
There's nothing written in stone saying they *must* put out a new patch every 3 months.
I'm sorry you're bored already. Have a cookie.

2.0 launched on late august and the 2.1 patch was on december I think. We got 3.0 on late july so november is not a stretch.
They were also far off the mark with their 2.0 launch estimation iirc. Pretty sure 3.0 was slated to release much earlier too. Their 'smaller' 3 month updates have usually been on time but yeah.
Usually with a small delay. But wondering if the 3 months till 3.1 will be from the release of Heavensward, due to the released content every 2 weeks being part of the HW expansion but delayed to not put pressure on players to max level to start grinding tomes already. Or from the release of the last part of HW, Alex Savage.2.0 launched on late august and the 2.1 patch was on december I think. We got 3.0 on late july so november is not a stretch.

So 3.1 could be any time from september to november.
If I remember correctly wasn't 2.1 delayed due to issues with 2.0 and 2.1 contents so they had to hold 2.1 back to fix these issues?2.0 launched on late august and the 2.1 patch was on december I think. We got 3.0 on late july so november is not a stretch.

I don't think 3.1 is face much issues like 2.1 so doubt the issues may be any thing beyond a few weeks or so off the usual 2.5 month scheduale.
