Weapon first on every job, no exceptions. It's the biggest upgrade you can get. There's no relic for another 2+ months, and we don't even know what ilvl it'll be or how long it will take to get.

Wait for new relic chain? I'd hate to spend 3 resets saving up for a weapon I'd ultimately replace when 3.1 comes out. I'd rather spend tomes gearing up my left side in anticipation for my AST relic. Smart or nah?

have you seen that axe? I nearly wet myself when I saw the design and how awesome it looks on a roe. The only other axe to look that badass was the titan axe.

I'm getting the weapon now because I like the look and it would be a upgrade to may weapon.

Also we don't know what will be required to obtaining the new Relic 2 so getting the weapon would be a safe method if the Relic 2 takes a bit long.

Not to mention we don't know what each Relic 2 weapon will look like as well so it is best to get a weapon look you like now rather than regret it later.

I currently doubt these weapons will be involved with the Relic 2 quest since they can already be upgraded to their ilvl 210 version if players have access to Alex savage and later the new 24 member raid in 3.1.

Ordinarily I'd agree, but the Relics could be upgraded from their base with a tome item. They could well be the base of the Mythic, but until I see a stage where I can change it's stats the Bard Esoteric will still be crap. Assuming it's the Mythic, of course.

Other than there not being proof that it's certainly not going to happen, what makes people think the relic will be in any way related to the tome weapon?

I'm definitely saving for weapon I just hate the way the WHM cane looks so I'll be glamming my inferno cane over it .
