    Yeah go free market...oh wait I mean go no market...yay...

    But seriously, I understand gating gear in mmos, but come on too much can become too much. I play this game to have fun, not work. I would be okay with this expect for the crafting (I've only heard of horrors stories personally from ingame friends...sounds so bad) with the gear gates IF this was a normal mmo, 1 battle class, and a 1 or 2 crafting/gathering professions PER CHARACTER. But FFXIV is NOT a normal mmo when you can have one character that can do everything, making steep gear gating a dumb idea in several levels.
