    So people want to get full gear for esoterics right away? They don't want to put the effort and time aside for Alexander Savage?

    Why even play this MMO then? People got what they wanted and they want instant gratification. That's really what this is all about. They can't get what they want immediately so they get angry and lash it out on other people in the game. =(

    It has nothing to do with wanting the gear or not. They put a bucket in front of players that can only be filled on a weekly basis before it gets dumped. Then they give them a spoon to put water in the bucket. Now imagine if you got money for the amount of water you got in the bucket before its dumped and presto, we have the current mental state they are trying to induce in the player base. Almost forgot, the player is putting money into the game so he has the opportunity to fill the bucket.

    It's about not being able to do it on your own schedule or in the way you'd want to as opposed to just immediate gratification, which suggests one particularly rate at which a player may want to get stuff. They've decided how much they want end game players to play per week and are trying to psychologically pressure people into doing that against their better judgement. Otherwise why not just let them have a cumulative cap? It's very simple to program into the game, but they chose not to do so.
