So it's 4 weeks of duty finder headaches for me to get an i190 body, but 2 weeks of casual roulette funtime to get an i200 body?![]()
Seems like it, I don't really understand the logic behind the vertical gear threadmill of the 3.0 (i though the base tomestone items would be i 190, like alexander normal).
I'm aware of that, for the game to boast about the option to be all classes it doesn't help that we have lockouts and restrictions as harsh as they are. Nor do I want everything immediately like how some think, I've no problem to put in work. But the content I'm working towards must be more meaningful then come back next week to another exciting adventure of Final Fantasy Ball Z. I really don't think people would turn away if the lockouts were modified or removed, I think we would see players playing more secondary classes, DF que times would be lower, hunts would still be active and players would also be doing FATES. Maybe I'm wrong but I just don't see a bad side to allowing more flexibility with gear acquisition.
Might as well ask this question here but will I have to PvP to cap on eso this week? Are eso obtained somewhere else besides roulette that Im missing? Doing expert, leveling and trials only yields 50 per day. Thats 350 per week. Not enough to cap.
Why isnt ilvl180 good enough for an alt? Im ecstatic to get law at the same time Im working on getting eso.I'm aware of that, for the game to boast about the option to be all classes it doesn't help that we have lockouts and restrictions as harsh as they are. Actual level 60 dungeons give you 40 each time too without the roulette. Same as with previous tomes.
Just to clarify something, the objective of the patch content is different than its effect. Yes, it is an effect of the patch content that you will only be able to get 450 esoteric a week, but the rate of acquiring esoteric tomes is low. In effect, they are trying to force people to play dungeons a certain number of times a week to keep the game alive. Savage Coil is just a carrot on a stick. So in place of trying to make the end game have replay value, they are still happy with using the same thing that wasn't working for them in the long haul.

As it was with poetics before (and I don't mean when they raised the cap to 900), you can cap esoterics just doing expert once per day for 6 days and not doing anything else all week. I don't think that's really slow. You could also just run expert and one extra dungeon and be done in four days.Just to clarify something, the objective of the patch content is different than its effect. I just don't like the 450 lockout. I don't even know which job I want to main yet, and only being able to gear up one job for months yet again has really taken the wind from my sails.
So people want to get full gear for esoterics right away? They don't want to put the effort and time aside for Alexander Savage?Just to clarify something, the objective of the patch content is different than its effect. Why even play this MMO then? People got what they wanted and they want instant gratification. That's really what this is all about. They can't get what they want immediately so they get angry and lash it out on other people in the game. =(
