I'm not so sure about the Ewer and Spire change until we know what the tic amount is. Everything else looks fine.

This is likely the case. I look at it this way: They've been very careful with their buffs/nerfs, and all of them have left the jobs in question in rather good states even if the players disagree sometimes. They've shown repeatedly that they do listen to community feedback (this entire game is a testament to that) and that they're willing to make smart changes to jobs rather than only adjusting numbers to get the desired effect. Astrologian isn't going to be kept out in the cold if that's where it's being left by the players - it'll receive the adjustments it needs.
Better to do it carefully than to apply a sloppy bandaid that leaves a mark.
While i am also disappointed at CU changes(but very happy with other changes), i felt like CU's intended purpose was always for phase transition. In Diurnal it allows you to catch a breath and regen mana, all the while bring party back up from phase transist damage.Yes, it's a good start but we're a bit far from how AST should be. We still have a lvl60 ability that sounds more or less like WTF, and a bubble that doesn't nerf you but it's not so worth because you can't act. Maybe they wanted to think how they should adjust it because they don't know atm...
Yes, but if you consider for example A1, you can channel CU while the bosses are falling down again during the transition. The problem is: you have to run in position and then channel it, so it's not very comfortable...
Yeah I hate the standing still bit for CU, like I cannot tell you the countless times I used CU only for me to get targeted by an aoe...It's like the game just knows ._.
Even during the A1 phase people aren't just going to stand in CU to get a decent amount of healing. They need to get to the boss and their positions. You'll probably do more healing with one Helios. It has limited uses so it's pretty much a throwaway ability to me.
Ewer/spire thing was kinda a overstated problem, but still a slight buff for those times when someones actually running on empty. Unless of course the potency is crazy good or crazy bad.
I see what they're trying to do with the royal road change. Old or new version, often spire and ewer are pointless. This does make spear once again the most hated card. Enjoy rring spear only to draw another spear 30s later and shuffle it into another spear.
Speaking of, shuffle not drawing the same card is more important than a cd reduction.
Shame you can't use lightspeed offensively, for the sake of the mana reduction rather than mobility. But hey, nitpicking. It's a nice ability now.
Spreads likewise nice.
Collective unconscious is still probably just a really pretty novelty/super situational move. I'll have to see in practice though.
Bit disappointing overall, as what stands out is less what they changed and more what they didn't. Weak shields overwrighting stronger ones, noct in general, the shuffle thing, double ast anti synergy(Diurnal regens and cards not stacking, the regen thing being important if you're just going to ignore noct sect).

why exchange the Royal Road effect of the cards now? thats totally stupid... i really dont see any reason.
they did nothing to royal road just switched which card burning does what.
pre patch -ewer and spire = duration extension
-spear and arrow = party spread effect
post patch -ewer spire = party spread effect
-spear and arrow = duration extension
why the hell even do this and mess with our muscle memory?
its like them saying "HEY GUYS we are doing changes we are doing it we are doing something!! guys? guys...?"
as for the rest
yeah they gave us a few band aids. i suppose no more mana issues but so what?
mch or bard could mana sing.
still weak heals.
still weak cards.
still the terible card rng (faster shuffle? boy im sure looking forward to drawing even more of the same card in a row).
i dont think they want this class in savage tbh.

I'll tell you why, it's because you touch yours.....because SE hates us and wants us to relearn or some off the wall thing.
