How about a NO!
How about a NO!
No we don't need to give tanks more reason to use strength accessories. Tanks don't need strength to keep hate they just need what's the words people use alot on these forums oh that's right they need to get good. Instead of saying I need more strength to keep hate. So I need strength accessories. If tanks would truly learn to tank they would come to realize that they don't need strength accessories after all.

Nope nope nope and did I say nope?
Anyway they had it like this in FFXI and if you think this community is toxic now you really don't want to see it with gear swapping.
Won't happen...ever
So long nobody pull before the tank he can switch gear between combat. We don't need gear switch during combat.
Using the same logic, I can say that if healers learned how to heal and tanks learned how to use cooldowns, tanks wouldn't need to use vitality accessories at all.No we don't need to give tanks more reason to use strength accessories. Get back in your hole, OP!

Several high damage skills would disagree with that logic.
Honestly we really don't need gear swaps. There aren't many jobs which would even benefit from this, since everything revolves around a single stat for most jobs. For healers, we have Cleric's Stance to swap between heals and damage and DPS are focused on only a single main stat. All this tanking debate has really done is separate the tanks who tank and the tanks who still think they're a DPS.
Because variety is not being forced to make a macro to switch into a specific set of gear to do a specific attack.
At the inventory guy, we have 100 inventory spaces and 300 Armory spaces on us at all times. We have a lot of storage space. But imagine trying to keep around dozens of different sets for up to 12 Jobs all at once, in a raid.
Honestly, I love Tanking and there's nothing i love more while Tanking than watching my HP get nibbled down. Makes me feel like I'm actually Tanking the damage being thrown at me.Several high damage skills would disagree with that logic.

I also love playing Healers, and theres nothing i hate more than a Tank whose HP get munched through in seconds.
On a boss that you know for certain does not do a lot/any damage to the tank, Yeah, for sure STR accessories gogo.
But generally, I will always use full VIT gear on my Tanks. In not needing any Healing, the Healer is free to pump out 500~ dps of their own.
An example is my Warriors Roulette when i was trying to get it to 51. Other Tank was a DRK in full STR gear, He was getting slammed (Despite being level synced i130 while im only i117) hard every hit. Meanwhile, i got a Stoneskin and sometimes a Regen, the Healer assigned to me spent virtually the whole fight DPSing while the other Healer sometimes got a Stone II or Holy off between Cures.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, a healer going full DPS is worth more than the 100~200 DPS the Tank gains, if its lucky, using STR gear.
I know there's people who disagree with me, and thats fine. Everyone has an opinion. This is just mine, and you'll almost never find me out of my VIT gear as i take pride in taking minimal Damage.

If a tank uses their cooldowns optimally and has proper healing/mitigation from the healers and still cannot survive, then there's a need for Vitality accessories. There's currently no fights in the game where that applies, unless you're undergeared.Several high damage skills would disagree with that logic.
