Yeah not really buying that.
I mean i understand what you mean and if the Job quest would be neccessarily be made in 2.55 or before then yes. but as you will be able to start your dragoon quests whenever you want (and be it in 10.5) i doubt that they would not Change the quest when killing off one of the instructors.
I think that is exactly what they will do (with hauchefant being the exception as we saw him die) i think everyone of the scions, ysaile, estinien and whoever vanishes in the future whitout a clear death will come back.Hi.If they start bringing back people who are dead then this game sucks ass at storytelling. Hauchy literally took a spear thing into the stomach. He wasn't even that important of a character
and no one cared about him and even thought he could be a traitor after all this happened. He is dead, on a grave near Ishgard. Let the man rest in peace.
Ysayle got blasted plenty of times and fell into the skies. Please do not bring people who are 'dead' back. I love those 2 characters but it's better storytelling that way.
They ruined Nanamo's story, big time and I love her. Glad she's back, but oddly enough I'd be happier if she died, and Rauhbahn turned crazy or something. The whole Ul'dah story
was pretty terribly written in this patch. People become too sympathetic and never want a 'bad ending' like Edda...Do not give Edda a happy ending. More lil' shorts of her is alright but nothing more.
This game suffers from 'This really really sucks' and has done pretty well so far, despite the Ul'dah thing...I cried on Hauchy. ><
...
.
Is this bad Story telling and getting extremly predictable and boring after a while? Yeah
Do I think SE cares? No not really.
Nothing?
He was surpressing Nidhogs power during the entire fight, without him we would not have a Chance against that Dragon that is for sure.
For the Dragon Blood: in some Storys Dragon blood grants immortality or other nice thinks so maybe that's why (yeah i know it didn't really work in the end, but who knows what Story they have with bathing in the blood os Dragons)

Back on the topic of Estinien, all he has to do is become self aware and realize two objects cannot occupy the same place at the same time. I've seen that movie!
(It's called A Flight of Dragons. It's good. Dumb but good.)

Spoilers and hi.Thx EdwinLi
Dragoon spoiler
In Dragoon you get your apprentice who gets dragoon blood off the bat. Then all we do is track her down and gain skills for tracking her down cuz why not I guess. It stated off so promising then turned into chase someone that at this point is bad at being a dragoon. I wanted more epic dragon bttles like the lvl 52 one all we got was le sigh hertics.
Compared to monk where we have a clear story onto why we get our class skills. (I like monk post 50 story a lot more then pre 50) Not sure about other classes but dragoon felt pointless fast.
Really? Because I felt like Dragoon got the most involved storyline out of any of the jobs. They created an entire expansion for us. I felt like playing through the main scenario as Dragoon was just the most amazing thing ever. I got to fight along side the other Azure Dragoon, defeat Nidhogg, meet a few more ancient dragons, obtained the oldest dragon as a mount, and all of it ending in my friend's soul being devoured. I don't see how it could get better than that.

If he dies, I'll be glad, he was a jerk
When you see someones glamour with non matching boots

My explanation of the jerkiness.
I am sure with 90% probability that he was a jerk because he was constantly fighting with Nidhogg while having his eye with him. As you could see when he turned into dragon it happened only because he lost his focus for a second. If I had to be on focus for years I would act like ultra jerk.![]()

One of the brothers (THe goofy one you helped in Sea of Clouds) and his retainer are over in the markets actually. I haven't looked around enough for the others...but really, Haurchefant is dead, he won't be coming back (Also to the person you were quoting, quite a few people actually did come to like him very much near the end of the 2.x storyline, and it basically increased through HW. Atleast from what I've seen/my own self as well.)
As for Estinien...
Remember that in the DRG level 50 quest he does end up going crazy due to hate/Nidhogg's influence but is able to come back on his own by the time he enters the 2.x MSQ...while right now the possession is MUCH stronger, it was not due to his own hate AND we know its possible to bring him back because he has done so himself...that said I AM sure that when we do free him, it will either A.) Free Lahabrea as well, or B.) Same as A, except he possesses Estinien...meaning we either A.) Have to free him AGAIN (On two fronts at that since its the same situation as with Thancred), or B.) We won't be able to save him like we did with Thancred...though in this case he will totally give us the opening to finish of Lahabrea once and for all.
Warrior of Darkness will have Estinien as mount.

So he is! Good...that's good. One of the brothers (THe goofy one you helped in Sea of Clouds) and his retainer are over in the markets actually.
