I forget what mission it was, there was this green blob that you had to defeat it. One of the guys said "dont hit it" like five times, and I'm like yeah sure we do no damage to it, so i decided to hit the bombs around it like an idiot. Then the dude was like bruh stop it, then i relized that the bomb split the green thing up so we can kill it, only hit the other add popping up. i felted so embarrassed, i will never forget that.

I had a shame moment tonight... big aoe pull (I'm NIN) and could not for the life of me get my mudra right... first decided to cast Raiton, then the 2nd try I cast Suiton D: just couldn't get the aoe one I wanted lol

I was doing A1 for my token and was on add duty for one of the lasers. when adds popped i THOUGHT i was on the adds i was supposed to be on.. and i deathflared the wrong boss causing the other set to come to me along with the ones i was supposed to hit cause i had a shadow flare on the right boss. needless to say at that moment one of the missile went off. and my controller uncalibrated (thanks inputmapper) causing me to just derp right near the landing zones and die. this caused us to wipe at 3%... i was so thankful that the guys i was DFing it with were really nice

Speaking of different dungeons, back on the first days of HW, me and my healer friend queued for High Roulette. I went Tank for this one just for the heck of it... then got to see the oh so typical castle walls of Wanderer's Palace.
We got ready and started, kept running, and the first mob poped in front of me and... were they Tonberries? Wait, huh...? Keeps going, more Tonberries? What the... oh wait D:!!

Took me and the rest of the party like 4 mob groups before realizing we werent on the Hard Mode...
Seriusly, its been so long...
The next day we went for another High Roulette and got Wanderer's Palace normal once more. This time I was DPSing, and I said "I bet the Tank will not notice this is the normal one".

Yup, Tank was totally lost XD

Oh man. Brand new to Barding. Didn't realize how Repelling Shot worked. Totally thought it'd just shoot me straight back based on the direction I was facing, not back from where the game calculated the center of the mob to be. I was in AK normal on the Demon Wall fight and after making a careful effort to make sure I was facing straight forward, I used Repelling Shot... while standing near the outer edge of the platform. I went nearly straight sideways.

Needless to say, I did not participate in 90% of that boss fight.

The reverse of that is also fun. Boss was preparing a big AoE and I was running away, then thought "hey I could just elusive jump out of the way quicker". Instead, of course, I jumped backwards, straight through the boss, ending up right in front of him, eating the AoE. I survived, but I really felt like a loldragoon right then. XD

So I went to the Trial roulette and got Battle on the Big Keep... that one with Gildy and the birdman.
And as soon as I start the battle, PHONE RINGS!! Okay, I would have ignored it... but why did my fingers move so fast?! They already picked up the call, damn it! Okay, Im a melee so I couldn't leisurely take this to my ear, SET UP THE SPEAKERS!!

Oh? Hey, rotation is quite easy to do by memory, good going, fingers? Huh? Whats this tether again? Wait, what did you say? Uuuh... I'll try to go close to the person I am tethered to... uuh, nothing happened? Okay, away? Nothing? Urm... I'll just stay on Birdy...
Healer: "get close".
OH SO IT WAS LIKE THAT AFTER ALL!!! (by then the Mini effect elapsed too) ... okay that was... shameful... BUT IT WASN'T MY FAULT ONLY >=D!! (At least that one other person joined me to the shame this time)

I fell off Bismark's platform when I alt+tabbed back into the game before we even pulled.
