DPS corner of Shame

So I admitted to a friend that I'm pretty bad about using DPS buffs since I always want to save them "just in case" (healer mindset).. Was properly shamed, so I was determined to do better. Well, later that day, we headed to Brayflox NM so I could level my dragoon..

I tried to use internal release whenever it was up, keep dots up, and not pull hate.. felt like I didn't do too terrible a job. Run was smooth and all, but I ended up with 3 pieces of gear at 99% spirit bond. We headed to Costa del Sol to finish that off.. then right after the FATE..

"You do know you can use jump, right?"

That realization that I didn't use it a single time through the whole dungeon (or earlier FATE farming I did). ;_;

Well, it wasn't me but, poor MNK. I know how that feels dude :/

We were on one of the new duns... something "Al"...
We were doing fine for the most of it but this guy for some odd reason simply couldn't avoid any AoE... I think they were lagging terribly or were definitely not in their game, but imagine yourself dying to an obvious "hey-I-will-oh-ko-you with this 30 seconds casting skill" that you simply could never, for some odd reason, avoid (even if that meant 3 steps to the side)... he must have felt so much shame :|


On another note... Ultros fight, it was my first time Tanking it but also the first time I got issues with the DPS simply being unable to get the 8 imp stacks no matter what D:

We ended up beating this fight because I got a minimal positional lag spike that hit when Typhoon sent us all flying out the platform. Since the Stun takes about 1 more second to hit in, you can jump back on the platform and the fight continues :v

Yup, it was cheap but the DPS just couldnt do their part, shame on them :|

So yesterday I went with my friend to a High Roulette and got The Ancient City of Amdapor.
All went fine and all until we reached Diabolos.

We were going to do the doors because why not? and told my friend "will you handle the doors?" to which she said "yeah"
Confidently I went in and started doing my stuff. Once I get comfy on a fight I play zoomed in, and the moment the big explosion happened the doors never opened to pull us in... I thought something went wrong and she didn't get both doors for some reason...

Turned out that I was close to the other door we needed to open and I never noticed because I was playing zoomed in... she spent the next few hours judging me OTL

As a blm in t13, people stacked for the last megaflare right before gigaflare. I thought the megaflare had hit already and aetherial manip to stack with the group for gigaflare JUST as megaflare hits and died. That was pretty embarrassing.

So back on the first week, I got my first go at Bismark HM.

Battle begins and my camera is facing Bismark's direction. Then the add on the right side throws its line AoE my way about 10 seconds later and to avoid it I run in the oposite direction from Bismark. Of course I avoided it... by falling to the abyss OTL

Ever since then my camera on that fight faces sideways...

I use an MMO mouse with 12 side buttons, one of them is a mouse-hover for apocatastis; sometimes when I would hit the button for it and the mouse cursor shakes and it ends up on someone else. Yesterday I ran Expert roulette with a friend who's a sch, I tried to use it on the tank, instead it landed on him. His response: "WHY ON ME!?" Good thing the DRK didn't die.

I was in t5 and I was busy killing the dreadnaught/hatches and she popped twisters and I elusive jumped onto the wall...

I was in hm titan and heart phase popped. One of the blm got goaled far out so I was going to elusive my way to them but no I flipped off the platform in front of the tank.... Since your technically in front of the boss.

I forget what mission it was, there was this green blob that you had to defeat it. One of the guys said "dont hit it" like five times, and I'm like yeah sure we do no damage to it, so i decided to hit the bombs around it like an idiot. Then the dude was like bruh stop it, then i relized that the bomb split the green thing up so we can kill it, only hit the other add popping up. i felted so embarrassed, i will never forget that.

I had a shame moment tonight... big aoe pull (I'm NIN) and could not for the life of me get my mudra right... first decided to cast Raiton, then the 2nd try I cast Suiton D: just couldn't get the aoe one I wanted lol
