These forums man
Somebody do something to your Cheerios this morning?
Maybe he's being a dick but maybe he's not. I didn't know it needed a tank swap until more recently either. Hell, initially we thought that phase needed both tanks to soak the cleave, like the hand phase, and the stacks were a soft enrage kind of thing. It's only been out 6 days not everyone knows everything about it.
Good tanks bask in the glory. Player skill is subjective regardless of the job. A good player knows what to do and when. A warrior tunnel visioning as a dps is just that, a stubborn person in a wrong job.
Uh... no not all WAR tanks do that lol.
I won't lie though haha after 2nd phase ravana I Do Tend to tunnel vision my dps. Uh why am I being knocked ba-oh wait... :3
Anyway, all of the elitism is unwarranted. It isn't as if everyone here is PVPing to compete for openworld Raid bosses or anything like that. Heck, most of us don't even pvp.

Give this guy more likes!
As much as I love pushing my limits as a Warrior and figuring out when I can stance dance into Deliverance and how I can up my damage, I can't stand it when tanks think they should do this to the detriment of their primary function: holding aggro and surviving hits. I have always balanced my Fending vs. Slaying accessories and now my stance-dancing against what damage is going out and what my healers can handle. I may stretch them a bit but I'll never deliberately make a choice that will cause them to stress out or panic.
It's about knowing the balance. Do as much damage as you can, but only when you can do it and still eat the incoming hits like a boss. Stance dancing comes when you start to learn the content better.
I think that's the right attitude for a tank.
