It comes from the same place as all the other unfounded bard hate: straight from the poster's back end. "hurr a durr legolas jumping spam brainless faceroll!" They don't have anything to back it up, because it's all hyperbole at worst, and anecdote at best....I must ask where does this logic come from? What type of critical thinking skills that you must have, to come to this conclusion? It was "easy" so there was no play style. I guess if you feel this way, I can understand why you feel it requires a lot of thinking needed to use wm.

Not a hate thread at all. BRD never looked interesting on my book. It looks interesting now. I think people should honestly give it a try.
Did you see who I was quoting, and who they were quoting? I wasn't talking about your thread or you, but yet another person who has nothing to add to the conversation except insults against all bard players.

Saying that in my opinion BRD has been given a degree of complexity that makes it more interesting in 3.0 is insulting now?
Then why are you even posting?
This Bard crap is starting to get annoying.
Is it really that bad?
Are you guys missing DPS or you're pissed off because of the mobility issue or is it something else.
I don't even know what's going on anymore.
They can support us still.
Still sounds bard to me!![]()

I will try to explain this as best as I can. All of this is Subjective, just like this post.
The developers have stated at one point bards are a mobile dps class, when asked are they support dps. Now the developers are saying they are a support dps.
Bards take a dps slot, and I don't mind the support role of the class. I however, question if the tools we have add good support game play. A lot of players were hoping for new support songs, and keeping the core of the class the same. When we only got one supportish skill. (and from our testing, it seems like it does not work on many of the mobs.) and a caster stance.
This lacks all common sense from a game design stand point in my eyes. For one, It changes the play style of a class that people enjoy. Two, Instead of adding new songs, and making bards have more options adding skill needed to manage mp. We got this.
