thank god we get a gil sink where the super elite with 100's of millions in gil finally have something to dump some cash on. I can see the steps now:
1.drop cash on hq gear/weapon
2.drop cash on the best tier 4 materia
3.drop cash catalyst (extra cash for HQ catalysts)
4.watch in horror as HQ item is lost going for the phantom 5 materia attach

repeate over and over till T5 acheived.

this gives super min/maxers something to do while gil is syphoned out of the hands of the super rich.
