Maybe SE will cave in like they did for Male miqote and the other genders being added...We just have to keep at it for 9+ years XD (Personally I think that helped the game a lot )

But lets ask ourselves this: Would adding playable kids really hurt the game much? (Or at least teenagers, so the Tumblr SJW's won't throw a tizzy)

I think a better question would be whether or not the pros outweigh the cons.

Cons: SE is inevitably hurled into a blazing firestorm of controversy for allowing children to be maimed, mauled, and sexualized.

Pros: Some people get to play as a child, for whatever reason.

I think SE would be fine, 1.0's failure of a launch couldn't kill them I don't think a bunch of pissed off moms and dads will either XD.

I still think teenagers around Alphinaud's age is a perfect middle ground. Everyone wins that way.

Also kid's aren't these precious angels that need protecting and shielding all the time, Most kids nowadays are rotten little punks who swear worse than a drunken sailor hooked on crystal meth.

But what does SE get out of suffering through all the bad press? What does introducing this playable child race do for them? They get nothing positive out of it.

Yes let's not also forget that this is an online game that you play with other people so social interaction is a thing. You take that and let people be able to play as a child that's going to cause problems. You never know who's on the other end of the screen plus we do have a marriage option in the game so how'd that even work.

In my opinion though, this character looks too young to be doing anything especially since, unlike lalafells, children are not strong or capable for combat. I wouldn't mind though a new childlike race since this game is lacking in this category. The choices you currently have are normal humanoids, very large humanoids and deformed babies. We don't have a smaller humanoid options such as Alphinaud and the Padjals. It could also have animal traits to please the people who are tired of humanoids such as the Tactic A2 moogles and since people are very fond of bunnies, make them bunnies.

I play male characters, though. The problem still remains.

Besides, the female au ra look very strange if they are at their smallest. They look more like deformed adults than childlike.
