AST's "SCH" stance is missing the fairy and its skills + the ability to buff throughput + the mana management + the utility of Supervirus/E4E/Energy Drain/Bane, with the assumption that your Benefic II being equal to Cure II will cover it....which it doesn't because it just makes the fact that the subpar mana management is there even worse. Shields also can't crit.

More predictable "why don't I have everything scholar has" while ignoring everything that you do have - like the fact that your stolen version of adlo is instant cast and costs 70% of the mp.

What does AST have over SCH? Card buffs? They don't increase DPS more than SCH's ability to Cleric Stance and DPS.

Most of Adlo's usefulness is in the crit shield being doubled. The shield itself is barely worth it on a SCH without the crit and usually only if a tank buster is coming.

Which is exactly why they should work on Ast's cards instead of handing them more of our stuff.

Which means Noct Stance will remain useless, their healing will remain sub-par compared to WHM/SCH, and your strongest asset is left to RNG.

SE made AST to be able to take on the role of either a WHM or a SCH, but you can only take on one in any instance and don't even fulfill the role as well which is pointless because why would I bother going AST when I can already choose between WHM or SCH by leveling that class? Healing as an AST is exactly like healing as a WHM except without all the tools a WHM has and a buff every 30 seconds that doesn't help your healing at all.

Also nobody asked for your aetherflow, your lustrates, your fairy abilities, or your DoT spreading ability. Newsflash: AST already has shields. They are useless because without all the other tools SCH has a shield is awful compared to regen.

If draw's CD was shorter, spread usable outside of combat, shorter shuffle CD, and no longer gives a repeat card (or just omit spear, spire, and ewer from the pool for the love of god), and maybe +5 seconds to the effect of expanded royal road cards, it would be tolerable RNG.

My problem with focusing on the cards is that Noct Stance will still suck. I agree cards need to feel better though. The fact that Bole/Balance only give +50% effect when RR'd is a bit silly considering you'd get far more use out of just using two cards compared to Spire/Ewer which doubles the length of the buff.
