"Official" Black Mage Rotation?

Been on reddit, been on youtube, but I see there are different variations of the rotation at level 60.

I'm about to hit level 60 and this time I wanna know the rotation going into it instead of spending 2 hours at a training dummy figuring it all out myself.

So what your best rotation guys?

1. it'll depend on fight. For instance, an add fight will look different than a single target fight.
2. it'll depend on fight. For instance, a fight with multiple disconnects will require saving cooldowns, and correct usage of ley lines.
3. it'll depend on fight. For instance, bismarck starts with a boring old add phase that you won't be using your cooldowns on.

The "rotation" is basicaly the same as 2.0, except that you replace fire1 spam with (F4 > F4 > F1) spam, you replace thunder with B4, and you use thunder as a filler during blizzard if you think that you'll have enough enochian time.

HOWEVER, you might have to cut one F4, or BOTH, and do a F1 sooner, if you had to interrupt casts in order to not let AF run out.
ALSO, you might have to cut your fire spell spam sooner if you got casts interrupted and got to refresh enochian with B4

Make sure that enochian has ended before you use your enochian skill otherwise you're gonna get the B4 dimishing returns (fucking stupid squeenix pls fix, or at least let us right click off enochian)

What I do is :

Sharpcast + QS + pre-cast Fire I -> (Enochian weave) + (Firestarter Proc) -> RS + Ley + Pot -> Fire IV -> Fire IV -> Fire I -> Fire IV -> Fire IV -> (Swiftcast) Flare -> Convert -> Fire IV -> Bliz III -> Thunder I -> Bliz IV -> *)
*)Repeat : Fire III -> Fire IV -> Fire IV -> Fire I (Thunder Proc)-> Fire IV -> Fire IV (Firestarter Proc) -> Bliz III -> Thunder I -> Bliz IV

in standing fights i generally

B3>t2>ley>f3>sharp>f4>f4>f1(proc)>f4>f4>convert>f4>firestarter>f4>b3>b4>t1

replace b3 with transpose once he timer gets short enough that b3 eats up enochian. in certain fights when enochian is almost up its better to just get your 4 fire 4s in and B3 reset.

spell speed plays a huge role in this though.

I recommend saving Swiftcast for emergency Enochian maintenance. The number of times this has preserved my Enochian buff in movement heavy or disruptive mechanic raid settings has long passed my ability to count.
