I'm all for more options to glamour for my Male character, but everyone should stop crying about cross dressing, because it's not going to happen. I honestly find it weird and so does the majority of the community, sorry if that makes you cross dressers angry, that's my opinion and many others' opinion.

I'm not necessarily against them adding a joke dress item that can be worn by males like the one they put Hildebrand in, but nothing revealing like Thavnarian bustier. I'm sure there's going to be people saying that "What I dress my character in doesn't affect you!", but realistically it does, because each time I walk by your character I'll have to hold myself back from projectile vomiting.

1* Males should not wear dresses, because it is not right!
2* I cant f*p to male avatars and giving males dresses will decrease my waifu ratio.
3* I dont want to see males in dresses, so they should not wear dresses.
4* Males should not get dresses, because this will take away recources from cool armour design, but if its for females then its oke, because waifus.
5* I play a female avatar and this does not affect me, but I think males in dresses is YUCK!, so I come here to complain about it.

In the end, its basicly straight male players who often play female avatars, who are complaining about what other players are doing with their avatars. Bigotry at its best.
Oh please... get down off your high horse.

I have plenty of transgender friends and the physically male ones that dress like females are working with what they have. They were born physically male and they just have to deal with it, working with what they have. In a video game, you can choose, so they don't have that problem.

And Japan is not new to males in "female clothing" or visa versa. There's a huge subculture of "new halfs" and "okama" here. But again, that's having to work within the confines of reality. You don't have to do so in a video game.

Mmmyeah. Equal. Two of them can be worn by female characters, one can be worn by male. Yes, thematically they're equal. In effect they are not, because there is no equal counterpart that is male-only. =/

Well... That's really your problem, isn't it? There are plenty of people who have to hold their nausea back whenever female characters walk past in bikinis, or tanks wearing the snowman head do the same. Does that mean SE should remove those options from the game? What's the next part they'd have to remove because someone couldn't stand looking at it? Do you think there are people who don't like the outfits you put on your character? Would that stop you from wearing that outfit? Or would you say, "No, I can dress like this if I want to"?

Do you like my SE-sanctioned miniskirt and thong?

I'd like to just take a sec to laugh at how many people think SE would never ever allow crossdressing in their sparkling clean game, as if there aren't numerous male NPCs in this game already wearing bright, flamboyant makeup, or like there wasn't an actual crossdressing NPC in FF8, or one of the most memorable parts of FF7 being the entire length of story that involved crossdressing Cloud.

For real, it's not a big deal.

Well that's the same as saying: I can't stand two guys kissing each other in public, so they are not allowed to do so. Sorry but nobody should and nobody will ever care about you being somehow weirdly 'offended' by seeing something you don't like. Do you go up in the streets in real life and pick on people that wear the colour pink because you don't like pink? Try it. Go out there and make open complains in a public street. About how they dare to wear that colour because you hate it, you can't stand to see this colour. Blame and shame them, shout at them that you despise them blah blah. What will peoples reaction be?

They will hopefully call the police and defend the poor fella wearing the shirt because you are acting like a person that's not sane and a threat to others. Not the person wearing a shirt of this colour is, but you are. Because your freedom stops where you cut the freedom of other people who do not hurt anybody around them ! But YOU are! Why are you actually thinking this behaviour is any better here on the internet? Sure you are anonym so firstly this seems like a safe place. Sad that an online game forum seems to be utilized as the last bastion of that bigotry. You are just rude. Don't try to justify, because you can't. 'I don't like it.' is no reason.

What make me laugh about the female getting access to both gear is that I hardly ever see them wear the male gear. On my server and DF so far I must have seen two female wearing the gambler coat and only one with the new Thavnair vest, so to me the argument for not giving male access to a semblance of a lookalike of the female version because people wouldn't wear it doesn't stand up imo.

I keep seeing female characters wearing very revealing clothing everywhere I go. I had a run today with a female tank wearing an armored chest and a thong along with a female miqote dressed as a bunny with fishnet.
Most of those glamour look pretty ugly and very unappealing to me, but i can't do or say anything about it because they have the right to dress their character as they want. You don't like it? then don't stare at it. Pretty simple.

To the people that don't like seeing dudes in dresses:
Life must be really hard for you. I'm sad that you lose sleep over it.
