I have a good feeling Esoterics will be equal to Alex Normal for mix and match. There's always the accuracy requirements.

This would actually be how much of the hardcore "Raid is the way to get the best-level gear" crowd would prefer the ilevel system works.

Basically, EX becomes its own catagory. But that doesn't seem like SE's intention. They try to let everyone have multiple pathes to max ilevel.

What I think is more likely:

Alexander NM : Upgraded Law
Alexander Savage : Esoterics (Please GOD no upgrades via hunts/dungoun drops...)
