Maybe it will wander about, until it becomes a dungeon or the new 24-man raid. That would be something.

Man this thing is weird. It look allagan and not allagan at the same time. Maybe this thing is something similar to the Heart of Sebik in that it's older than Allag but they manage to repurpose it some how.
I'm going to look for this thing as I hunt marks in that area for now on. I want to see it for my self.
Trust me, it's weeeeeeiiiiiirrrrd. Also, with sudden mentions of Mhach in the expansion, and the unmistakable purple color of the ship making he think of void-stuff, could the ship be Mhachi and not Allagan? Some sort of void-magic-powered ship?Man this thing is weird. It look allagan and not allagan at the same time. Wait a second.... Void Colored.... Magic.... War Ship looking... Semingly allagan in origen.... OH MY GODS IT'S THE WARRIORS OF DARKNESS FROM THE ASCIAN WORLD!!!!!!
Well, if one is the moon and the other is the earth, and one wants to destroy the other, does this mean another Meteor gets cast?Spoilerly Spoiler spoilers
went to the Moon in one of the FF titles (V? III? Idr, DRK knight one) and the end cutscene shows Ascians on the Moon with the Warrior of Darkness.... (Leading some to speculate Zodiark Is the moon and Hydaelyn is the World we live on, as Midgardsormr describes our world as Hydaelyn when he speaks of arriving here). Its not that crazy. FFXIV pulls a lot from other Final Fantasy Games, the Moon is shown in a cutscene with Ascians on it, and we've been to the moon in one of the past FF Titles... Its not crazy to think we'll probably end up on the Moon at some point in the future...
If only for a Battlefield
Well, we did get a re-imagined Knights of the Round... I'd love to see a re-imagined Ark. Always was one of the coolest summons, IMO.

That's actually what I think it is, kinda...
Not on the scale of Dalamud, but the same purpose, minus the energy production aspect; A prison ship for sealed Eikons.
If you have access to such technology, you'd probably want to seal such things safely away in the sky... The Warring Triad were, Bahamut was sealed in space... Not sure why Odin was just sealed in the Shroud, but the fact that he just randomly got released is proof of how silly that plan was. Various Calamities and pop, he just gets released. Bahamut? The Warring Triad? Both required the intervention of man to bring them out. Seal these things nicely away in the sky/space and people have to actively try to fuck up to unseal them. Seal them on the ground and they just randomly spawn one day, granted Odin was released by a Calamity caused by Darnus, but he could equally have been released by a really big boar deciding to headbutt that rock all day... Given we fight The Last Allag in a quest there, I think Odin was sealed there out of desperation, perhaps after Xandes Calamity where they lost access to their technology? The Floating Continent had a pretty potent barrier around it, as did Crystal Tower (which was linked to Dalamud, though Darnus got around that by building a small replica), they obviously had enough common sense to try and seal these things properly. Kinda odd that Odin was just sealed in some rocks with zero Allagan tech in sight.
Sealing Odin was the Allagan Summoner Wyu's doing. They were Atempting to defeat Odin, likly to seal him "properly" but several were killed and they almost lost until Wyu sacrificed herself to seal Odin in a pillar of crystal that would later be called "Urth's Fount".The Floating Continent had a pretty potent barrier around it, as did Crystal Tower (which was linked to Dalamud, though Darnus got around that by building a small replica), they obviously had enough common sense to try and seal these things properly. Also, now that we know its possible to actually turn yourself into a primal i think the origenal Odin did just that while making his blade (that he aparently looted off an Au Ra somehow, somewhere) as a catalyst for his mortal will to summon him back. (now that i think of it, thorden's blade was left behind too. hmm)
now that you bring it up i am still hopeing they will allow DRK to use thordans sword cause while it was like a 1 handed sword for him for anyone else it would be a giant greatsword and it looks awesome...Sealing Odin was the Allagan Summoner Wyu's doing. I'm getting a horrendous mental image of a horde of Lala DRKs running around with Thordan's sword about five times their size...
Still, the comedy value would be there at least.![]()
