Thats a misconception alltogether, the false assumption that elemental nukes=BLM in FFXIV. At this point BLM just means the DD caster and WHM means the healer caster.

I would like to see an explaination as to how THM has nothing to do with either BLM or WHM ?

Doesn't the term "DD caster" imply that you must do damage, and thus most likely require nukes?

Also I think THM is quite the opposite, it has both BLM and WHM properties, which makes it even harder to discern the path it will take in the future:

- THM heal (Sacrifice)
- THM nuke (Scourge/Banish/Shadowsear)
- THM debuff (Absorbs/Dia/Bio/Poison/Paralyze/Slow/etc)
- THM buff (Absorbs -> Initiation)

Honestly, this sounds much more like a BRD than a BLM or WHM to me.

Hard for you perhaps, common sense for most.

How you got WHM out of the folloing is beyond me:

- THM heal (Sacrifice) Spill your own blood to grant HP to another
- THM nuke (Scourge/Banish/Shadowsear) Shodowseer....really...this says WHM to you.....SERIOUSLY?
- THM debuff (Absorbs/Dia/Bio/Poison/Paralyze/Slow/etc) Debuffs don't scream WHM to me either.
- THM buff (Absorbs -> Initiation)

Spells aside, do both the class quest......THM talks of nothing but spilling your own blood, and walking the line bewteen life and death, If that says WHM to you, then you will never get it. CON talks of holiness, meditation, being one with nature, and speaking to the elements.

Seems pretty logical which one seems more applicable to which job. To base it on abilities alone, is attepting to judge with 1/4 the fact, and anyone knows thats not a very intelligent way to make a discission.

But since you keep pushing the issue, I have to just come out and ask, at what point does sacrafice say WHM to you, and Cure say BLM. When you keep comparing spells, thats all that needs to be said.

Duh, heals + buffs = conjurer = WHM..........Nukes + debuffs = THM = BLM

Exactly what i have been saying.......
