It wasn't that I thought Warrior self-healing was ignored or nerfed or anything. It was just that I felt gypped if Paladins got a better self-heal with HW than Warriors did, when self-healing is the Warrior's schtick when it comes to absorbing big hits.

Paladins were seen as more of support/utility tank as opposed to the Warrior who is more of an aggro generator/ot specialist. Self-healing warriors died out after the 2.1 patch where Inner beast changed to giving a 6 second rampart as opposed to a 300% heal and imo its much better now.

Yes Paladins can heal party members but remember during that cast time they are not attacking anything and susceptible to interrupts. The war only needs to pop Bloodbath during Berserk and/or Vengeance and gets some decent H.O.T.'s. IMO they both have pros and cons but both bring something to the table and that's always a good thing for healers

Interrupts are really really rare. Basically if you are critted or get hit with a tank buster by a boss then sure. I've heard of tanks in ravanna ex using it just fine while being hit. Basically you can use equilibrium quasi at will if you are ok with the cast time. A great tool to top yourself off before every tank buster, or save a party member. Paladins are in a very nice state now with shelltron being a mini cooldown for busters, divine veil for raid damage and clemency being such an agile spell.
