    Equilibrium vs. Clemency

    Correct me if I'm missing something here.

    Warriors, the self-healing class, get a 1200 potency self-heal on a 60-second cooldown.

    Paladins, the mitigation class, get a 1200 potency heal that can be used on self or anyone else in the party within 30 yalms (and they get 50% of that heal themselves if they use it on someone else), on global cooldown, for the cost of probably less than a third of their MP (I don't know what Paladin MP pools look like at 60).

    In the time I can use Equilibrium once a Paladin could use Clemency probably half a dozen times if he needed to.

    Is there something major I'm missing here or did the self-heal proficiency award just get passed from Warriors to Paladins?

    Well, some other things... Can clemency be interrupted since it's a spell? And other magic related drawbacks... And I'd say being off the global cooldown is better anyways.
    I don't really see a problem with it. Paladin always had cure, it's just an upgrade of it.

    I don't know how Clemency works completely yet but since it's a spell is it calculated based off of the MND stat or is it calculated based off of STR or VIT? I know Equilibrium is calculated based off of attack power so Berserk affects it similarly to second wind and a Berserked Equilibrium can do 6-7k self heals if critical.

    I heard that it goes off attack power like Warrior self-heals, although I can't promise that was accurate.

    Clemency has a cast time (can be interrupted) and costs MP...Equilibrium is insta-cast, costs nothing and when stacked with berserk can crit for like double the normal amount, i'd say there both pretty balanced and yeah they both go off attack power, hence why berserk adds a massive buff to Equilibrium

    Yeah, I knew Equilibrium was based off of Attack Power. I just wasn't sure if Clemency was as well.

    Clemency is based off of Attack Power, and FoF will not affect it because it's just a physical damage increase. Just like Flash enmity scales from attack power but is not affected by FoF.

    How high is the enmity gained from Clemency though?

    Yeah, Clemency has a 3s cast and can be interrupted (and as a tank, you can get hit a lot in 3s). And the MP cost is more than a third. I can use it twice, but have to regain MP in order to use it again.

    I currently can heal up to 3000 HP with 160 ilvl (without buff), I don't know how good it is compared to Equilibrium.

    Equilibrium heals for the exact same, but war can add berserk in with it to get a bigger heal, i tryed both self heals...my war healed an extra 100hp, but thats because my war has an extra 10str on him, for some reason the ilvl170 axe has 10 more str than the pala sword/shield

    How much does Clemency actually get interrupted? I remember being interrupted a lot more at low levels of caster classes than at high levels. Is that a pretty major concern? Because that's really the only major drawback I'm seeing.
